Responsibilities: Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written Knowledge of various welding techniques, including TIG & MIG Weld and fabricate parts as needed Troubleshoot and repair mechanical issues Conduct routine inspections to identify potential problems Operate manual and semi-automatic welding equipment to fuse metal segments using processes such as gas tungsten arc welding (GTAW), gas metal arc welding (GMAW), flus-cored arc welding (FCAW), shielded metal arc welding (SMAW) Perform grinding, chipping and other metal preparation tasks prior to welding Inspect welds and ensure they meet quality standards Field work is required Experience: Previous experience as a Millwright or in a similar role Proficiency in safety protocols, including wearing heat resistant gloves, flame resistant clothing, protective masks and safety footwear Strong mechanical knowledge and ability to work with precision measuring instruments Experience with stick welding is a plus Certifications a must, we also provide annual training.
