Job Overview:
The EVS Representative is responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and orderly environment throughout various facilities and offices. This role performs routine cleaning tasks, restocking supplies, and identifying maintenance needs to ensure all areas remain presentable and hygienic. The EVS Representative supports daily operations by keeping workspaces, restrooms, and common areas in excellent condition.
*Must be fluent in reading, writing and speaking Spanish.
Employees will be required to float to any facilities to work based upon business needs.
Responsibilities:
Maintain cleanliness of carpets, chairs, and hard floor surfaces.
Shampoo carpets and chairs in all public areas and offices as assigned.

Check equipment for safety hazards and general service.
Move, transport and operate heavy-duty or industrial type equipment such as vacuums, blowers, extractors and rotary shampooers.

Job Title: Physician Assistant Employment Status: Full-Time (exempt)
Under the direction and supervision of a Radiologist, the Physician Assistant (PA) is responsible for providing competent medical care within the professional scope of practice. This role supports the interventional radiology team by preparing and educating patients, performing radiologic procedures within scope, monitoring patient progress, prescribing medications as permitted, and ensuring accurate and confidential medical documentation. The PA contributes to the efficient and safe operation of SDMI while maintaining high standards of patient care, safety, and professionalism.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Explain interventional radiology procedures to patients as part of their treatment plan and obtain relevant clinical information.
Communicate effectively with radiologists, technologists, nursing staff, and other healthcare professionals regarding patient care and procedures.
Perform interventional radiology procedures within the scope of Physician Assistant practice and delegated authority.
Monitor patients before, during, and after procedures; assess patient condition and initiate appropriate clinical interventions as needed.
Administer, monitor, and document mild sedation medications, including recognizing side effects and complications.
Provide clear, concise discharge instructions and patient education regarding after-care and follow-up.
Write prescriptions in accordance with state licensure and organizational policy.
Maintain accurate, timely, and confidential medical records and ensure all patient documentation is complete.
Demonstrate knowledge of radiation safety, contrast administration, infection control, and universal precautions.
Respond appropriately to emergency situations, including defibrillation or cardioversion when required.
Complete occurrence reports within 24 hours when directly involved in or responding to an event, risk, or incident.
Utilize supplies, equipment, and resources effectively and responsibly.
Follow all SDMI safety, evacuation, and emergency procedures.
Participate in required in-services, training, and continuing education to maintain clinical competency.
Actively seek and accept constructive feedback from peers and supervisory personnel.
Perform other job-related duties as assigned to support departmental operations.
Minimum Qualifications
Current, unrestricted Physician Assistant license in the State of Nevada, including eligibility for participation in all government programs and prescribing privileges.
Current ACLS, BCLS, and PALS certifications.
Demonstrated ability to work independently with minimal direct supervision.
Strong critical thinking and clinical judgment skills.
Computer literacy and ability to use electronic medical records.
Ability to communicate effectively with patients, families, and staff from diverse backgrounds and education levels.
Professional demeanor with patience, tact, and courtesy.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Knowledge of radiation protection principles and contrast media side effects.
Skill in IV catheter placement and care, including chest ports, chest tubes, drains, and urinary catheters.

Ability to apply arterial pressure in emergency situations.

· Knowledgeable about the proper handling and disposal of hazardous/toxic substances.
· Works as an effective team member/leader with co-workers and other personnel.
· Willingly participates in cross-training activities within the department for own professional growth in order to contribute to the overall function of SDMI.
