Coming from modest beginnings, Stellar was established in 1985 as a 12-person company specializing in refrigeration contracting, maintenance, service and parts supply.
As one of the nation's leading design, engineering, construction and mechanical services firms, Stellar hits the 30-year mark, growing from less than 12 employees in 1985 to more than 600 employees and $400+ million in annual revenue.
Stellar was awarded the Food Engineering 1993 "Food Plant of the Year" for this project.
The office, established in 2010, allows Stellar to offer additional technical expertise and broaden skill sets on a national and international level.
Stellar’s 160,000 SF D-B project for premium poultry processor Bell & Evans was chosen as Food Engineering magazine’s December 2016 “Fab Food Plant."
Stellar’s 33,000 SF D-B project for Royal Cup, won the 2019 Manufacturing Innovation of the Year award from ProFood World for its coffee processing facility.
