Qualifications


Associates Degree In Nursing Admission to a BSN program within one year or obtainment of a Bachelor degree within 2 years of assuming position is strongly encouraged. One (1) Year Of Experience In Stepdown in Acute Care Environment Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing with the Arkansas State Board of Nursing Basic Life Support (BLS) before hire Advance Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) must be obtained within 6 months of hire
A compensation range of $66,000 - $81,000 is the reasonable estimate that CommonSpirit, in good faith, believes it might pay for this particular job based on the circumstances at the time of posting. CommonSpirit may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range as permitted by law.

The ICUs include Trauma, Neuroscience, Surgical, Medical, Vascular, Cardiothoracic, Coronary Care, Burn, Adult ICU Step Down, Pediatrics, and Neonatal Units. TGH is a Level I Trauma Center, and a certified Regional Burn Center that excels in the care of critically ill patients.

Job Summary

Under general supervision, following established policies, procedures, and professional guidelines, delivers nursing care to patients. Plans and implements nursing care; documents nursing assessments; identifies and reports situations requiring further intervention; formulates and communicates goal-directed plan of care; assures patient rights. Responsible for performing job duties in accordance with the mission, vision and values of Tampa General Hospital and principles of quality improvement.
Qualifications
Required Skills

Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing; licensure to practice as a Registered Nurse in the State of Florida. BSN or ASN with greater than one year experience required and enrolled in BSN program. Critical Care experience required; Surgical/Trauma ICU experience preferred.

This is a developmental program for graduate nurses who want to develop multiple and varied clinical skills in multiple nursing specialties.
This position requires participation in a guided training and developmental program.
