What You Will Do:
Financial & Administrative Responsibilities:
Support the Store Team Leader in meeting or exceeding payroll and margin goals; monitor labor costs and assist with budgeting.
Approve Team Member schedules and ensure adherence to the stores payroll budget.
Oversee administrative tasks such as payroll processing, invoicing, and expense tracking.
Communicate financial targets and performance metrics to Store Leadership and the Director Group.
Training & Development Responsibilities:
Lead the stores training culturefrom hiring through ongoing developmentensuring every Team Member receives effective onboarding and continuous coaching.

The Certified Nurse-Midwife (CNM) will join the longest-standing hospital-based midwifery practice in San Francisco, attending births in a state-of-the art Family Birth Center. Job Description
Under general nursing direction, the CNM functions within an organized system for the delivery of healthcare as a member of an interprofessional team. The CNM provides nurse-midwifery care in the Obstetrics, Midwifery, & Gynecology Clinic, Family Birth Center, and postpartum unit. In collaboration with the physician, the essential job functions include the following:
Antepartum care (both 1:1 and Centering Pregnancy) in collaboration with Comprehensive Perinatal Services Program team members and social service agencies;

General Qualifications

EMPLOYEE BENEFITS
As an employee of the County of Sacramento, there will be a variety of benefits available to you. GENERAL BENEFITS:
Most employee benefits are similar to the following for all County employees. However, some benefits differ, depending on the employee representation unit to which the employee's job classification is assigned. TEMPORARY POSITIONS:

SALARY STEP INCREASES:
The beginning salary and the top of the salary range are usually shown on the job announcement. Upon satisfactory service, salary increases of approximately 5% are given annually until the top of the salary range has been attained.
PAY:
All employees are paid bi-weekly via direct deposit into the employee's bank account. The pay period covers fourteen (14) calendar days, starting on a Sunday and ending on the second Saturday thereafter. Salaries are generally paid on the Friday following the end of the pay period. Employees can set up their direct deposit and access their pay information via Employee Self Service in MySacCounty.
VACATION:
Generally, vacation with pay begins at 10 days annually. With increase over a period of years, the maximum annual vacation with pay is 25 days.
HOLIDAYS:
14.5 holidays per year as recognized.
SICK LEAVE:
Equivalent to 15 days annually, unlimited accumulation. Upon retirement, unused sick leave is converted to retirement service credit.
PARENTAL LEAVE:
Entitles a regular County employee, with at least one year of continuous employment, to schedule a paid parental leave of up to 160 hours upon the birth or during the process of an adoption of a minor child. Parental leave shall be approved by the employee's appointing authority, except where the granting of the parental leave request would unduly interfere with or cause severe hardship upon department operations.
TUITION REIMBURSEMENT:
Dependent upon union agreements, regular County employees may be eligible to receive Tuition Reimbursement. The costs for course tuition/registration fees and required books/supplies are eligible for reimbursement. Tuition reimbursement amounts may vary depending upon union agreement.
RETIREMENT:
Social Security and Sacramento County Employees' Retirement System coverage.
HEALTH INSURANCE:
The County offers a variety of health plan design options to fit individual needs.
DENTAL INSURANCE:
The County provides a comprehensive dental benefit program for regular full-time and part-time employees and their eligible dependents. This plan pays on a set fee schedule that varies by procedure. Any amount over the fee schedule is the employee's responsibility. The yearly maximum is $2,000 per person, not including orthodontia. The orthodontic benefit is 50% of covered charges with a lifetime maximum of $1,000 per person.
LIFE INSURANCE:
The County of Sacramento provides a basic life insurance benefit of $15,000 to all eligible employees at no cost. Additional coverage may be purchased through payroll deduction.
DEFERRED COMPENSATION:
The County offers a Deferred Compensation Program which enables employees to save in a systematic way without paying income tax on either the payroll deduction or the earned interest, prior to withdrawal.
EMPLOYEE ASSISTANCE PROGRAM:

VETERAN'S PREFERENCE:
Military veterans who have served during wartime shall be given preference in initial appointment to County service. Such preference shall apply, provided the veteran has first achieved a minimum passing score in the examination. The passing score of a veteran shall be annotated to indicate the veteran's score shall be regarded as 5 points or higher, OR 10 points higher for disabled veterans, only for the purpose of determining the three ranks along with which the veteran's name shall be certified. We are seeking interested and qualified individuals to proctor the upcoming Washington State Bar Exam.
The Bar Exam takes place on Tuesday and Wednesday, February 24-25, 2026.
The Bar Exam will be in person and at the Greater Tacoma Convention Center, in Tacoma, WA.
There is also a brief mandatory orientation / training in person on Monday, February 23, 2026, from 1:00-3:00 p.m.
The Bar Exam is two full days. Proctors are expected to arrive at 6:30 a.m., February 24 and at 7:00 a.m. on February 25, 2026, and remain until approximately 4:15 p.m.
Interested candidates must:
Be at least 18 years old and a high school graduate
Communicate effectively and courteously
Be proficient in the English language
Follow directions accurately

Perform biological surveys, report preparation, data tracking and analysis, construction monitoring, and other services related to compliance with the biological and regulatory requirements associated with the projects.
Biological monitoring duties require in-field decision-making as well as oral and written communication skills.
Duties may include general and focused biological resource surveys, nest surveys and monitoring, habitat restoration monitoring, web-based reporting, and the use of ArcGIS GPS equipment for mapping identified biological resources.
Southern and/or Central California biological field experience required. Training will also be provided as needed.
Maintain confidentiality at all times.
Exercise safe work practices by following all Company safety rules and OSHA regulations, including attendance at all required safety training programs.
Participate in the company's continuous improvement programs and provide support to team efforts.

YOUR EXPERTISE AND SKILLS

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
BS in biology, ecology, wetland science, plant ecology, or similar fields.
Valid Driver's License and an acceptable driving record per company standards
1-6 years of professional experience in biological surveys, biological/construction monitoring, or similar field/biological experience.
Proven familiarity with biological resources in Southern and/or Central California with a strength in botany, wildlife biology, and/or wetland ecology.
Basic understanding of FESA, CESA, CEQA, and NEPA.
Experience and training with ArcGIS and GPS technologies for large-scale biological resource inventories and conservation planning efforts.
Professional experience with one or more of these species is preferred: desert tortoise, Arroyo toad, red-legged frog, burrowing owl, coastal California gnatcatcher, least Bell's vireo, desert kit fox, Mohave ground squirrel, San Bernardino kangaroo rat, Stephen's kangaroo rat, as well as other special-status plant and wildlife species in southern and central California.
Experience with plant and wildlife on Catalina Island and Coastal Zone is preferred.
Professional experience with nest monitoring, construction monitoring and compliance, or habitat restoration is preferred.
Current/previous USFWS 10(a)(1)(A) Permit and current/previous CDFW Scientific Collecting Permits is preferred.
Ability to work under pressure with multiple deadlines.
Ability to work remotely and independently with minimal supervision/direction.
Flexibility to adapt to changing document directives and deadlines.
Advanced skills with Microsoft Office Suite.

Requirements
JOB REQUIREMENTS
An individual should possess the knowledge, skills, and abilities listed and meet the amount of education,
training and/or work experience required.
* H.S. Diploma or GED required
* Two years library experience preferred
* Basic knowledge of library systems and databases preferred
* Ability to work a regular schedule that may include a combination of days, evenings and weekends
* Excellent customer service skills
* Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
* Good communication skills, both written and verbal
* English/Spanish speaking is a plus
* Regular, Reliable attendance is required
Physical Requirements
* Must be able to frequently move from place to place within the location; file and retrieve books and other items on high shelves.
* Lift/push up to 25 pounds and occasionally up to 35 pounds. of heavy boxes, books, and equipment; work in confined spaces; walk; bend; stoop; reach; and climb.

Part Time Meter Tech (Monday-Friday: 12:30-5:30PM) GENERAL PURPOSE Performs a variety of entry level semi-skilled duties related the proper operation of metering devices and the regular reading of city water meters to determine the customer consumption for billing purposes. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Meter Reading: Receives meter reading schedules; walks or drives truck over established route(s); locates residential and commercial meters and reads meter dials; utilizes MVRS, FDM and mobile collector instruments for electronic or "auto-reading" of meters.
Inspects meters and connections for defects, damage, and unauthorized connections; adjusts meter reading devices; checks readings to locate abnormal consumption and records reasons for fluctuation; performs visual inspections of plumbing to locate water leaks; implements billing adjustments for bad meter reads or incorrect utility rates.
Confronts various obstacles in location meters (i.e., fences, locked yards, dogs, etc.); uses ingenuity in reaching meter to conduct reading; performs general meter maintenance as needed to ensure the accuracy of meter readings.
Performs the water service connect and disconnect functions as directed by utilities staff or supervisor(s); computer enters new meter connects for customer accounts; as needed, dispatches various requests to servicing departments and coordinates technical services.
Performs various field GIS related functions to document locations of meters in parks, properties, homes and commercial establishments.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
* EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
* Sufficient education and experience to demonstrate an aptitude or ability to perform above and related duties;
AND
* One (1) year of experience in general construction, landscaping or related field; OR
* An equivalent combination of education and experience.
* KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
Some knowledge of basic operations of water metering equipment; water valve mechanical operation; basic truck/motor vehicle operation; Interpersonal communication skills; tools, instruments, equipment used in the operation, maintenance, and construction of the water meter system.

* WORK ENVIRONMENT:
