Responsibilities:
+ Decontaminates, disinfects, and thoroughly cleans supplies, instruments, and equipment used with patients.
+ Assembles supplies, instruments, basin sets, used in a variety of clinical settings in accordance with policy/procedures. Wraps and prepares all items for sterilization with appropriate labeling. Uses appropriate sterilization method based on manufacture's guidelines. Ensure parameters of sterilization are met.
+ Ensures code blue carts are stocked and ready for use as well other hospital equipment is cleaned according to manufacturer's guidelines. Pulls case carts with all available supplies and instrumentation to ensure patient needs are met. Manages supplies within the department in order to provide safe and efficient care.

Properly dispose of all biohazardous material
Assist in cleaning and disinfecting dental operatories as needed.
May be required on occasion to assist chairside for charting/recording patient information for certain provider types or when short staffed.
This position requires the employee to be on their feet for several hours while tasks are being completed.
Perform other related activities, as required, to assure safe patient care and to maintain the highest standards of infection control.
Requirements
Preferred Qualifications:
Education/Certification/Licensure:
High school diploma or equivalent.
CPR certification for Health Care Providers, required.
Current vaccination record meeting ACIP Healthcare Workers Recommendations.
Must have strong time-management skills
Be able to travel to off-site meetings
