Duties Reprocess surgical trays post-surgery; ensuring they are decontaminated, cleaned, inspected, sterilized, correctly assembled within a timely manner and ready for the next case Operate sterile processing washers, sterilizers, ultrasonic and drying cabinets Participate in regular on-site training Duties - cont'd Education Degree High School Diploma or GEDRequired Experience A high school diploma or equivalent required. Completion of a Sterile Processing/Surgical Technologist program preferred. 2+ years of SPD experience with demonstrated proficiency in all SPD Technician responsibilities, including a solid proficiency and ability to work independently with all tray sets. CRCST/ CSPDT, CST or CER/CFER, CST certification is required. Must also obtain CIS/CSIS, CHL/CSPM or STERIS Assessment certification within 12 months of hire. Must maintain certification by completing 12 Continuing Education Credit Hours annually Able to perform all job requirements of both a Technician I and Technician II. Must demonstrate “mentor” status in applicable specialty area(s) via competency assessment within 6 months of hire Leadership discretion based on satisfactory performance, validation of skill level. Productivity, quality and attendance must meet company standards, including performance rating of successful or above in all areas. Pay range for this opportunity is $22.68 - $29.35. Minimum pay rates offered will comply with county/city minimums, if higher than range listed.
