Job Description Summary:
Perform and coordinate the cleaning, preparation, and sterilization of all specialty and surgical instrument trays.
Take a lead role in education and training of new staff.
Do the monthly load counts.
Working closely with the manager and oversee daily operations in his or her absence.
Minimum Certifications, Registry or License Requirements:
Required Certified Registered Central Service Technician (CRCST)
Minimum Education and Experience Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent; at least three years of sterilization, biological testing or operating room technician experience, must read and write English and possess ability to communicate in English, spoken and written.
