Job Description:
Reports to Operations Supervisor or Surgical Technician as required. Performs services related to the setup, reprocessing and care of patient use equipment & surgical instruments. Performs inventory control functions related to supply areas.
Minimum Qualifications:
β’ An accredited High School Diploma or equivalent required
β’ Possesses a SterileProcessing certification through HSPA or CBSPD Must maintain certification throughout employment.
β’ Maintains required CEU's in accordance with certifying body.
β’ Previous experience in SterileProcessing, Nursing or Surgery with strong commitment to implementing Infection Control, disinfection and sterilization principles required.
β’ Basic computer competency required.
