Assists Sterile Processing Supervisor with maintaining department production requirements by leading and directing SPD employees. 4. Assists with case carts management and communicates issues to the Sterile Processing Supervisor. 5. Uses excellent communication skills when discussing instrument needs with Sterile Processing Supervisor, SPD Liaisons, and/or OR Clinical Coordinators. 6. Ensures that all equipment is functioning optimally and report issues to the Sterile Processing Supervisor and/or the appropriate department. 7. Assists the Sterile Processing Supervisor with maintenance of departmental compliance logs. 8. Assists SPD Manager with implementation and enforcement of departmental policies. 9. Assists with special projects and interdepartmental committees as assigned. 10.
