An Outpatient Clinic in Arlington, WA is looking for a Sterile Processing Technician to join their team. The focus of this position is the decontamination and reprocessing of instrument sets and reusable sterile supplies.
Schedule: Monday - Friday, 40 hour week. Variable evening shift 12pm-8:30pm or 2pm-10:30pm.
Overview of Responsibilities:
Sterilization Cycle Management:
Perform daily tasks for general ENT, orthopedic, and GI scopes.
Conduct the complete sterilization cycle, including decontamination, cleaning, inspection, packaging, and sterilization of medical instruments.
Instrument Processing:
Operate and maintain sterilization equipment like autoclaves and washers/disinfectors.
Prepare instruments for use in surgical procedures.
Quality & Inventory Control:
Maintain accurate documentation and logs for all sterilization processes.
Inspect instruments for cleanliness, function, and damage.
Assist with inventory management of supplies and instruments.
Safety & Compliance:
Adhere strictly to infection control policies and AAMI/AORN standards.
Maintain a safe and organized work environment.
Requirements:
Experience: Must have experience within the Sterile Processing Department (SPD) or GI lab.
Technical Skills: Proficiency in decontamination, inspection, and sterilization techniques.
Pay:
$20-$22 an hour (Dependant on experience)

UW Medical Center-Montlake has an outstanding opportunity for a Supply Chain Technician 1. WORK SCHEDULE 50% FTE Weekend Day Shift DEPARTMENT DESCRIPTION UW Medicine Supply Chain Management enhances our patient care experience by delivering a robust foundation of services, operational and technical support, and the sharing of comprehensive, relevant, and highly specialized supply chain management expertise.
POSITION HIGHLIGHTS
Make sure healthcare providers at the No. 1 Hospital in WA State have access to vital medical supplies and equipment
Serve as an important contributor supporting the patient care experience

PRIMARY JOB RESPONSIBLIITIES
Provide exceptional customer service while maintaining adequate stock and distributing general, medical, and surgical supplies and equipment throughout the hospital
Manage rental equipment using Supply Chain point-of-use (POU) systems
Use tech like handhelds, package scanners, and Materials Management Information Systems (MMIS) to ensure proper inventory and cost allocations
REQUIREMENTS
High school graduation or equivalent

$44,100.00 annual

$61,152.00 annual
