Position Overview: The Delivery Technician provides transportation and security support to our manufacturing operation and ensures that The Cannabist Company products make it from each site in a timely and safe manner. Major Areas of Responsibility include:

Uses manufacturer's IFU's for cleaning and sterilization of instruments.
Performs the cleaning, wrapping and sterilization of equipment, utilizing multiple methods to include: steam sterilization, Sterrad, Steris, and high level disinfection with the automated endoscope reprocessor.
Ensures instruments are accounted for upon receipt from the OR.
Assists in the cleaning and turn-over of OR rooms between cases, as needed.
Performs other duties as requested by supervisor.

Current Basic Cardiac Life Support Certification

The Delivery Technician is responsible for delivering durable medical equipment to Apria patients in the home.
This position has an evening shift from 12:30 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Pulls, packs, delivers and picks up medications, supplies and basic equipment.
May instruct patients on basic use of respiratory therapy equipment, durable medical equipment, oxygen equipment, and other equipment/services approved by state licensure limitations.
Loads and unloads durable medical and infusion equipment onto delivery vehicle.
Responds to emergency delivery calls as needed during regular business hours and on an on-call basis.
Completes necessary paperwork including daily delivery logs, pick-up and delivery forms and vehicle maintenance logs. Distributes paperwork to appropriate personnel.
Maintains supply component of patient profiles.
Notify supervisor if any one of the following items is discovered in the patient's home:
a) Physical abuse of any family member

The successful candidate:
Schedule: Tuesday-Friday, 7:00 AM-3:30 PM or 7:30 AM-4:00 PM
Position Summary
Provide support to the GI/Pulmonary department by assisting in high-quality patient care, collaborating effectively within an interdisciplinary team, and maintaining a safe environment while performing basic and advanced therapeutic interventional endoscopy procedures.
Qualifications
Minimum Education:
High School Diploma or equivalent
Minimum Experience:
1-2 years of clinical experience in a healthcare setting
Required Certification/Licensure:
CFER (or ability to obtain within 1 year)
BLS certification (AHA)
Preferred Education:
SGNA Associates Program and SGNA Advanced Associates Program certifications
Preferred Experience:
2 years as an Endoscopy Technician
Experience with advanced endoscopic procedures
Skills & Abilities
Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
Strong communication and customer service skills
Excellent organizational skills
Technical Skills:
Basic computer proficiency (Microsoft Office: Word, Excel)

Position: Certified SterileProcessing Tech
Location: Glenview, IL
Full Time/Part Time: Full time
Hours: 3:00pm-11:30pm, rotating weekends and holidays required
What you will need:
Education: GED/High School Equivalent required
Certification: Certification Board for SterileProcessing and Distribution (CBSPD) or International Association of Healthcare Central Service Material Management (IAHCSMM) strongly preferred
Experience: Two years of sterileprocessing or operating room experience in surgical instrumentation preferred
What you will do:
Provide hospital and affiliated facilities with sterileprocessed materials and equipment
Execute established procedures for decontamination assembly, packaging sterilization and surgical case cart set up practices by ensuring quality product for patient care
Follow established procedures to ensure decontamination completion
Place sterile items in appropriate areas for distribution, ensuring the items are accurately labeled by department
