Full Time, Evenings Position Summary: Responsible for processing incoming supplies and equipment. Performs cleaning, decontamination and sterilizing duties, prepares packs of supplies, prepares supplies for all surgery cases, linens, and instruments in Sterile Processing as directed. Must be extremely conscientious with regard to procedures and capable of working under pressure and interacting professionally with all departments. * EDUCATION: * Minimum: High School diploma or equivalent and completion of a sterile processing course or surgical technician program * EXPERIENCE: * Minimum: None * Preferred: At least one year previous experience in central sterilization operations. * REQUIRED CERTIFICATION/LICENSURE/REGISTRATION: * Certified Central Service Technician certification or Certified Surgical Technician preferred.
