Job Summary and Qualifications
As a Certified Sterile Processing Technician, you will play a critical role in protecting patient safety and supporting life-saving care through precision and attention to detail. What you will do in this role:
* You will demonstrate knowledge related to maintenance, cleanliness, and sterilization of instruments and equipment
* You will maintain a sanitary environment for the provision of patient care
* You will demonstrates awareness of appropriate sterilization methods needed for different instruments in accordance with the manufacturer's instructions
* You will demonstrate knowledge of high level disinfection and sterilization of endoscopy equipment.
* You will maintain a daily log, testing for efficacy of disinfecting solution with each cycle and perform biological testing
* You will monitor and record all test loads and sterilization cycles while documenting any deviation from normal functioning to OR Coordinator and/or Nurse Manager

Qualifications for this role:
* One year experience in surgical instrument sterilization processing, preferably in an acute care or ambulatory surgery center environment

Job Summary:
The Sterile Processing Technician Certified, under general supervision, will inspect, clean, assemble, test, and processes patient care equipment, supplies, and instruments according to established policies and procedures and according to manufacturer's instructions for use. Essential Functions:

Inventories, stocks, and delivers supplies, carts, equipment to all facility areas as indicated per facility guidelines. Orders, restocks, labels, and maintains proper inventory levels. Rotates stock, inspecting for outdates per market requirements.
Performs and documents quality control aspects of sterile processing using various information technology systems focusing on instrument tracking, surgery schedules, surgeon preference cards, supply ordering and management. Accurately maintains comprehensive quality assurance standards related to sterilization and infection control.
Operates and understands various sterilizers and sterilizing techniques required to produce sterile packages for use in the surgical setting keeping package assembly aseptic protocols in mind. Monitors sterilization regularly ensuring quality assurance through chemical and biological indicators and integrators.
Documents all activities as required within the outlined processes and reports variances that may affect the outcome of sterile products or patient care and safety.
Identifies and resolves infection control issues in and around transport of biological hazardous materials, including the use of universal precautions and correct use of personal protective equipment (PPE), as well as sterile product identification.
Demonstrates knowledge of the operation and testing of washers and/or disinfectors, steam, and hydrogen peroxide gas plasma sterilizers, and other facility specific equipment and instrumentation.
Identifies surgical instrumentation by surgical specialty: General, Gynecological, Robotic, ENT, Orthopedics, Neurological, Vascular, Obstetrical, Urological, etcetera. Including functionality testing, assembly and disassembly as required according to manufacturer's instructions for use.
Participates in ongoing educational and competency verification opportunities.
Participates in the orientation of new staff and students as assigned.
Participates in the continuing development of personnel in the Operating Room.

Job Summary
As a Sterile Processing Technician with SpecialtyCare you are responsible for decontamination, cleaning, processing and sterilization of supplies and equipment dispensed by the department following infection control practices. It is your responsibility to ensure client satisfaction while also adhering to the highest quality and compliance standards.
* Assure that the standards of operation of the department comply with the standards set by regulatory agencies, such as the state Department of Health, Joint Commission and other regulatory agencies.
* Sterilize instruments, equipment, linen and supplies using various types of autoclaves. Load autoclaves in prescribed manner and set controls to specified time and temperature according to the type of items being sterilized.
* Complete appropriate documentation records prior to sterilization and after sterilization is completed.
* Assemble all instrument procedure trays, packs, supply carts following prescribed manner using protocol content lists as a guide, mark items with identifying data and distribute or store in designated areas.
* Dispense products requested by verbal, written or telephone requisitions for equipment and supplies.
* Identify and assign priority to emergency requisitions and required supplies and equipment based on knowledge of procedure requested.
* Replace lost or damaged instruments as required to complete the tray.
* Obtain, complete and submit all forms following the prescribed manner to verify appropriate work assignments.
* Maintain assigned work areas and equipment in a clean and organized condition to maintain required standards for handling of sterilized, clean materials and equipment.

JOB SUMMARY
The Delivery Technician is responsible for delivering durable medical equipment to Apria patients in the home.
This Job will pay between $19.00 - 22.00
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Pulls, packs, delivers and picks up medications, supplies and basic equipment.
May instruct patients on basic use of respiratory therapy equipment, durable medical equipment, oxygen equipment, and other equipment/services approved by state licensure limitations.
Loads and unloads durable medical and infusion equipment onto delivery vehicle.
Responds to emergency delivery calls as needed during regular business hours and on an on-call basis.
Completes necessary paperwork including daily delivery logs, pick-up and delivery forms and vehicle maintenance logs. Distributes paperwork to appropriate personnel.
Maintains supply component of patient profiles.
Notify supervisor if any one of the following items is discovered in the patient's home:
a) Physical abuse of any family member
b) Home environment is unsafe for the care ordered, such as unsanitary conditions or insufficient food for children
c) Animals in the home that cause unsanitary conditions
May clean and assist with the repair of equipment.

Job Summary:
The Sterile Processing Technician Non-Certified, under general supervision, will inspect, clean, assemble, test, and processes patient care equipment, supplies, and instruments according to established policies and procedures and according to manufacturer's instructions for use. They will act in accordance to sterility per the Association for the Advancement of Medical Instrumentation (AAMI), The Joint Commission (JCAHO), Center for Disease Control (CDC), and state standards of practice. Applies proper knowledge of various detergents and chemical disinfectants for use in the decontamination and removal of blood, bone, and other body tissues from contaminated surgical equipment. Adheres to standard precautions while performing cleaning and sterilization duties.
Inventories, stocks, and delivers supplies, carts, equipment to all facility areas as indicated per facility guidelines. Orders, restocks, labels, and maintains proper inventory levels. Rotates stock, inspecting for outdates per market requirements.
Performs and documents quality control aspects of sterile processing using various information technology systems focusing on instrument tracking, surgery schedules, surgeon preference cards, supply ordering and management. Accurately maintains comprehensive quality assurance standards related to sterilization and infection control.
Operates and understands various sterilizers and sterilizing techniques required to produce sterile packages for use in the surgical setting keeping package assembly aseptic protocols in mind. Monitors sterilization regularly ensuring quality assurance through chemical and biological indicators and integrators.
Documents all activities as required within the outlined processes and reports variances that may affect the outcome of sterile products or patient care and safety.
