What we are searching for We believe the successful candidate has these qualifications and experience: * High school graduate, AA/AS/BA/BS degree preferred, or 1+ year's technical/training/hardware certifications preferred. * 1+ years' retail business experience preferred. * 1+ years' experience with retail store systems, technology systems and hardware preferred. * 1+ years' experience with installation and configuration of desktop and peripheral technology preferred. * Excellent telephone, customer service and problem-solving skills with the ability to gather important information to resolve issues. * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively present technical information and tailor responses for customer understanding. * Working knowledge of IT hardware, installation models, Windows, MS Office, and related applications. * iOS and Android knowledge. * Self-checkout experience is preferred. * Demonstrated ability to follow written/verbal instructions, define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. * Demonstrated ability to work independently and be a strong collaborative partner in a matrixed organization. * Demonstrated ability to learn beyond formal training with a strong aptitude for delivering quality products under minimal supervision. * Understanding of how hardware/software systems inter-relate. * Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds of equipment, some twisting and turning with equipment installs. * Must have a good, safe driving record. Must have a vehicle. * Solid mechanical skills. * Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, day, evening and overnight. Using excellent customer service and communications skills, your primary duties in this role include: Acts as a resource regarding workflow, policies and procedures, training new and existing staff, and assists in evaluating staff efficiencies and identifying opportunities for improvement. Supports QA activities by obtaining and monitoring data related to infection prevention practices and compliance, including surveillance and safety concerns. Provides initial care, including preparing patients for examinations, taking vitals, documenting relevant medical information, and chart preparation. Assures accuracy on histology samples and maintains histology tracking logs. Orders and tracks supplies for the Endoscopy Center as directed. Maintains a comfortable, orderly, safe, and clean environment. May perform post-procedure duties, including assisting with post-anesthesia recovery, providing information and education, and transporting patients. Performs reprocessing and other clinical support duties as assigned. Assisting with the overall delivery of patient care in the department. Salary: Hiring range, based on experience and credentials: $31.81 - $43.03 per hour. Workdays: This role is located at Peterkort Centre. Typical hours are Monday-Friday, four 10-hour shifts; day off TBD (6:30 am-6:00 pm). Qualifications that support success in this role are based on education, experience and values including: Completion of a Medical Assistant Course or relevant on-the-job training, and a minimum of two (2) years' experience as an Endoscopy Technician is required. Previous specialty care GI experience is a plus! Graduation from a Central Service Technician program or an Operating Room Technician program is preferred. Specialty training (such as Certified Flexible Endoscopic Reprocessing (CEFR) certification) is strongly preferred but not required. Current CPR/BLS within 60 days of hire. ACLS may be required by specialty. Prior Electronic Medical Record (EMR) experience is preferred. Epic experience is a plus! Excellent attendance and work ethic. Positive attitude and desire to be a team player. Ability to communicate professionally and effectively with patients, physicians, and other team members.
