Job Summary and Qualifications
As a Lead Central SterileTechnician, you'll help deliver safe, high-quality care by ensuring surgical instruments and supplies are expertly cleaned, sterilized, and ready to use. Your responsibilities will include:
* Leading the preparation, cleaning, and sterilization of surgical instruments and supplies, making sure all items are properly cleaned and ready for use

Job Description
The SterileProcessingTechnician is responsible for the sterilization, decontamination, and assembly/wrapping of surgical instruments and equipment. Responsibilities

Graduate of high school or GED equivalency examination and must be certified and maintain a certification in sterileprocessing as a CRCST - HSPA (Healthcare SterileProcessing Association) or CBSPD (Certification Board for SterileProcessing and Distribution) and have at least two (2) years' experience in sterileprocessing.
Certified Healthcare Leader (CHL) certification preferred.

Central Supply Technician position requires an individual who has strong customer services skills, ability to communicate with a clinical team in a fast pace environment. As circulator, the Endoscopy Technician will assist the procedure room tech with documentation of pathology specimens and assist with room turnaround. In the decontamination room, the Endoscopy Technician is responsible for the high-level disinfection of endoscopic scopes/equipment. In addition, the position requires unloading supplies, scanning of documents into EMR, and other responsibilities as assigned by the Director of Nursing or charge nurse. The position is Monday - Friday, 6:45 am - 3:15 pm.
Minimum one year of healthcare experience or graduation from a medical assisting/surgical technician program preferred.
BLS certification preferred
Must have knowledge of medical terminology
Must be detail oriented
Must be able to communicate effectively
Must have basic computer skills
Must be flexible
Must be Certified Medical Assistant

Full-Time Endoscopy Technician needed for our Summerville Endoscopy Center. This individual will be required to float through three areas. In the procedure room, he/she is responsible for preparing the procedure room in a timely manner and assisting the physician with endoscopic procedures.
