**Job Summary and Qualifications**
As an Endoscopy Technician, you'll play an important role in helping provide safe, effective procedures to patients undergoing GI and endoscopy procedures. Your careful work preparing equipment and maintaining a clean, well-organized environment will help protect patients and empower caregivers to deliver on our shared mission to improve more lives in more ways.
**Your responsibilities will include:**
+ Preparing procedure rooms and endoscopy equipment, verifying equipment is in proper working order, and keeping supplies organized and stocked
+ Helping position and transport patients safely and comfortably while using proper body mechanics to protect both patients and yourself
+ Supporting physicians and nurses during procedures, including handling instruments, collecting specimens, and following proper safety practices
+ Cleaning, disinfecting, and sterilizing endoscopy equipment, and keeping accurate records for quality and safety
+ Communicating with kindness and compassion to patients and families, keeping them informed, and supporting their privacy and comfort throughout their care
**What qualifications you will need:**
+ Minimum of one year of Endo Tech experience
+ Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
+ High School Graduate / GED
