Sterile Processing Technician Certified are multi-skilled personnel who are responsible for all duties related to the decontamination, cleaning and sterilization of general and specialty surgical instruments, power equipment and endoscopes. **Responsibilities And Duties:**
Responsible for the decontamination, disinfection and cleaning or various reusable surgical instruments. This can be done via mechanical or handwashing methods, while strictly adhering to OSHA safety standards.
Demonstrate working knowledge of sterilization process and techniques involving both steam and chemical means. This includes appropriate documentation, storage, and transportation. Must have a thorough understanding of the sterilizer mechanical and chemical indicators, as well as the proper use and interpretation of the biological monitoring system.
Effectively enters, modifies, and searches for relevant information in the instrument tracking system. Demonstrates knowledge of surgical case preparation. Correctly identifies and retrieves pertinent instruments and supplies for scheduled cases or upon request.
Incorporates infection control guidelines while transferring, storing, and transporting sterile packages.
Interacts with external customers, such as vendors and surgical reps for the processing of loaner trays and receipt of CEU's
Follows and promotes industry standards and best practices, as supported by AAMI and AORN.
Demonstrate strong customer service skills while meeting requests of both the operating rooms and external clinics. Must be able the think critically and act quickly to meet the needs of all patients.
Responsible for aiding in the education and training of fellow associates.

Using information on repair tag, and with input from Service Writer and Service Manager, troubleshoot equipment and make necessary repairs. Make sure equipment is properly repaired on a timely basis.
Report problems or issues with repairs to Service Manager. Provide detailed description of problem/issue and recommend solution, both short-term and long term.
Ensure all repairs have been fully and properly completed. Perform complete inspection of equipment to make sure no other repairs are needed; safety features are in place and working properly; equipment is clean and decals are readable and unit is rent-ready condition.
Complete all required paperwork on a timely basis; thoroughly complete all forms and reports making sure all entries are correct and legible.
Work in a safe manner obeying all safety rules; keep shop area clean and organized. Correctly use safety equipment and PPE as required.
Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts. Identify root cause of failure(s)
Ability to interpret and follow instructions, solve problems involving concrete variables within well-defined situations.
Ability to read and understand drawings, schematics and diagrams necessary.

The New Product Development/Research and Development team manages and develops new product/drawing specifications within the cost constraints of the company. The New Product Development/Research and Development Casting technicians execute and support new material, part, and process casts utilizing vacuum induction melting furnaces. Technicians prepare and calculate melt charges, set up and maintain furnaces, and post process cast material via sawing, scalping, annealing, etc. Technicians use their experience/knowledge in vacuum melting processes, vacuum systems, pressurized gas, and manufacturing process knowledge/ability to make improvements to the casting process.

What will the Technician A do?
Technician A maintains diesel equipment operation by completing inspections and preventive maintenance requirements; correcting vehicle deficiencies; making adjustments and alignments; keeping records.
What is the Technician A responsible for?
Perform proficient inspection, diagnosis and moderately complex repair of assigned vehicles and equipment.
Provide assistance, guidance and direction to other maintenance personnel.
Inspect the quality of outside/supplier repairs and or rebuilds. Assess structural damage and assign needed repairs utilizing the most appropriate method(s).
Conduct safety checks on trucks.
Perform maintenance related work as required.
Estimate time and material costs on repairs.
Maintains a clear line of communication to the Lead Mechanic/Foreman and other staff in the maintenance department as needed.
Keeps shop equipment operating by following operating instructions; troubleshooting breakdowns; maintaining supplies; performing preventive maintenance.
Contains costs by using warranty, evaluating service and parts options.
Keeps supplies ready by inventorying stock; placing orders; verifying receipt.
Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading technical and regulation publications.
Occasionally may perform service calls for emergency breakdowns.

What knowledge, skills and abilities are required for the Technician A role?
Class A CDL license is preferred but not required.
Certified welder is preferred but not required.
5+ years' experience in class 8 tractor truck maintenance with background of hydraulics.
Proficient in electronic diagnostics Cummins and Paccar.
Experience with Peterbilt chassis a plus.
Knowledge of DOT compliance, laws, rules, regulations and safety is helpful.
Knowledge of transportation management system, a plus.
Computer literate. Microsoft, Outlook and Excel a plus.
Attention to detail and possess a high level of accuracy.
Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and ability to stay calm under pressure.
Strong interpersonal skills to develop and maintain positive relationships with dispatch team and auto haulers.
Excellent communication skills both internally and with customers.
