A day in the life
You start your morning by checking the day's route on your company-issued smartphone and laptop. Because you keep your company van at home, you roll straight from your driveway to your first hospital or lab, typically within a few hours' drive. Some weeks include a quick flight to support another territory. Your schedule flexes-morning, afternoon, or night-and you're comfortable tackling weekend work when Customer needs arise.
Why this role matters
As the first point of contact, you own Customer satisfaction. You communicate proactively, set expectations on arrival and service status, and close the loop with clear next steps. You build rapport with Customers and key decision makers, representing sterilizer services with professionalism and urgency.
What you'll do
Perform sterilizer chamber cleaning: change chemical ingredients, make precise chemical adjustments, monitor cleaning cycles, maintain proper pressures, and maintain/repair chamber cleaning equipment.
Handle, transport, and dispose of cleaning chemicals in strict accordance with safety protocols.
Coordinate closely with the Scheduling Team, your Supervisor, and the Customer to plan efficient routes and meet coverage and service standards.
Troubleshoot issues you observe with equipment and system components; consult the appropriate contacts when escalation is required.
Use a company-issued smartphone, laptop, and software to complete documentation, reporting, and other administrative tasks.
Care for your company vehicle, tools, supplies, and parts inventory; perform routine maintenance and escalate concerns to ensure safe, effective operation.
Schedule & travel
Field-based with very frequent travel. Most travel is by company van that you keep at home; expect occasional trips to other territories, sometimes by plane. Work hours vary (morning/afternoon/night) and include some weekends to meet Customer needs.
What you bring
High School Diploma or GED.
3+ years of work experience with at least 1 year in a technical or service-related trade (mechanical, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, construction, automotive, etc.) and direct Customer service experience.
Associate's degree, related certifications, or military experience may be considered toward the minimum years of experience.
Valid driver's license.
Flexibility to work outside typical business hours, including overtime and weekends, with up to 75% overnight travel.
Comfort with basic computer skills and smartphone use.
Excellent interpersonal and Customer communication skills.
Strong organization and problem-solving abilities; able to work independently without supervision.

Compensation
Pay range for this opportunity is $46,112.50 to $59,675.00. This position is eligible for bonus participation.

Active certification in sterile processing/central sterile via CBSPD or IAHCSMM required. If not certified at point of hire, it must be obtained within 12 months of hire.

Other Skills and Abilities
Must have a good working knowledge of Instruments, the operation/workings of the OR and be able to readily understand their issues and requests. Be able to speak the language of the OR.

The Surgical Technologist Certified functions under the direction of the registered professional nurse. Knowledge, skill and ability of the procedure being performed and anticipates the needs of the surgeon and other members of the healthcare team within moderate to high difficulty surgical cases as defined by the scope of anatomy, equipment, and instrumentation of the case
* Checks supplies and equipment needed for surgical procedure which includes review and utilization of appropriate preference card.
* Assists with room set-up to include opening of sterile supplies.

* Observes patients condition and immediately reports any changes or significant findings to the physician and Registered Nurse.

Who We Are: Lutheran Hospital is a community-based, acute-care hospital in Wheat Ridge, Colorado. It includes Lutheran Hospice Center and Lutheran Spine Center at Denver West.
Lutheran Hospital began in 1905 as the Evangelical Lutheran Sanitarium, a tent colony for tuberculosis patients. As medical advances diminished the demand for tuberculosis treatment, community leaders decided the center should meet a new need. Community-based Lutheran Hospital, a not-for-profit, general medical facility located on a 100-acre campus, opened its doors in 1961.
Our new Lutheran Hospital campus at Clear Crossing in Wheat Ridge opened its doors on August 3rd. Construction on the six-story replacement hospital started in 2021 and provides a state-of-the-art care site in the West Denver suburbs.
Essential Functions:
Maintains up-to-date licensure and certifications required for position.
Provides procedural assistance as a circulating tech, scrub tech, or monitoring tech, according to Angio lab policies and procedures and Scope of Practice documents.
Ensures proper patient identification, order verification, and prepares the patient for the exam.
Adheres to radiation safety guidelines and maintains a safe working environment for patients and staff.
Develops specific knowledge about invasive, diagnostic, and interventional supplies, appropriate indications and applications, and proper use and deployment techniques.
Follows appropriate protocol for medical necessity, coding and charging, obtaining necessary consents, maintaining applicable QC (Quality Control) programs, and reporting any equipment failures or problems.
Provides appropriate patient education, ensures patient comfort, and address patient and/or family concerns.
Keeps accurate records of patient information, procedures performed, and any adverse reactions or incidents.
Coordinates patient care and communicates pertinent information to other patient care providers following procedure.
At the end of the procedure, suture the sheath in place, or remove the sheath and apply pressure to obtain hemostasis.
Performs advanced interventional procedures including ablation procedures, stents, thrombectomy, embolization.
Orient new angio staff, provide teaching, coaching, mentoring and provide direct supervision as a defined preceptor.
Proctors other staff including specialized equipment and procedural techniques.

Trauma/CMF: DePuy Synthes Trauma offers a comprehensive portfolio of trauma care solutions for the treatment of the most simple to the most complex trauma injuries using traditional and minimally invasive techniques.
The overall responsibilities of the Sales Associate position include providing clinical and customer support in hospitals and procedures, while ensuring customer service, sales logistics, technical expertise, and product knowledge of highest order/level. Sales Associates also support sales objectives, cover cases, and maintain/manage surgeon and account relationships within a geographic territory - and may offer/sell the breadth of portfolio, services, and solutions for assigned accounts.
**Key Responsibilities:**
+ Assist DePuy Synthes sales organization in retaining and supporting further penetration with existing customers, while supporting product conversions with new customers. Assist in the attainment of established sales goals including market share objectives in prescribed territory. Apply knowledge of sales process, product portfolio and customer knowledge to improve sales outcomes.
+ Guide and assist surgeons in the operating room through their clinical and product knowledge. Use product knowledge to present, demonstrate, and ensure proper utilization of DePuy Synthes products
+ Support customers by attending surgeries, assuring that the proper equipment is available and performing, including ways to optimize trays; Provide Operating Room and Sterile Processing Department consultation
+ Troubleshoot and provide other technical assistance; handle customer requests, effectively manage hospital billing, create/close purchase orders
+ Share key customer, procedural and marketplace insights with other sales, clinical, marketing and strategic account teams to improve on solutions/service levels. Prepare sales reports and documents as required
+ Maintenance, tracking and effective deployment of equipment, and assets throughout assigned area ensuring product availability. Ensure all promotional materials are maintained in a presentable manner. Ensure DePuy Synthes Services and offering meet highest quality standards.
+ Focus on customer satisfaction and retention; and improving the customers' insights into DePuy Synthes tangible and non-tangible value proposition and solutions. Differentiate DPS's products versus competition by providing the customer unique insights.
**Qualifications**
**Education & Experience:**
+ Bachelor's Degree **or**
+ Associate Degree or Medical Certification (CST, PT, etc.) + minimum of 2 years of professional and/or related experience **or**
+ Minimum of 4 years of professional and/or related experience **or**
+ Recently transitioned from Active Military Duty
**Other:**
+ The ability to work in a lab/operating room environment.
+ A valid driver's license issued in the United States
+ The ability to travel which may include weekend and/or overnight travel.
+ Residence in or willingness to relocate to the posted territory.
+ Strong interpersonal communication, negotiation, influencing, strategic thinking, problem solving, and business acumen skills required.
+ A qualified candidate will be efficient, organized, self-motivated, positive and pro-active
+ Strong technical product knowledge of surgical instruments, procedures, protocols and solutions preferred
