The Pharmacist II, Nuclear has completed all necessary training and is licensed to be a practicing nuclear pharmacist in their state of occupation. As such, this job has responsibility for optimizing pharmacy operations and procedures to ensure consistent and efficient delivery to control costs, minimize waste, maximize customer satisfaction and deliver positive patient outcomes while maintaining compliance with Federal and state regulatory agencies. In addition, this job has responsibility for managing inventory, processing orders, compounding patient-specific doses of drugs and directing a team of drivers to deliver medications after they have been tested for quality. Maintains relationships with outside suppliers and vendors to understand availability of drug components and assist in demand planning. Participates in administrative tasks to facilitate nuclear pharmacy operations, including interactions with customers. This is usually divided into two sections: 200 hours of formal course work and 500 hours of supervised experience. Responsibilities: * Promote & sell Impella product line to established customers (physicians and Heart Teams including Interventional Cardiologists, Cardiac Surgeons, and Administrators). * Identify new customers (physicians and hospitals) and lead the efforts in activating new centers * Create account/territory business plans and build programs * Exceed sales for assigned territory * Initiate Impella development activities focused on increasing awareness in the market * Lead clinical teams whose expertise help drive Impella adoption in assigned territory Requirements: * A minimum of 3+ years of sales experience with 2+ years experience in cardiovascular medical device sales. * A minimum of 10+ years of sales experience with 5+ years experience in cardiovascular medical device sales. (Area Manager requirement) * Proven track record of selling into a Cath Lab or surgical suite. * A proven track record in leading and motivating teams to successfully achieve quotas. * Strong knowledge of interventional cardiology. * Direct patient support experience. * Availability for emergent patient care. * Ability to drive patient outcomes. * Ability to travel up to 50% overnight. * Conduct duties and responsibilities in accordance with all state and federal laws and regulations governing the medical device industry.
