The company sells its products through its sales team and representatives in the United States and internationally. Sterling, Inc. was formerly known as Sterling Engineering Company and changed its name to Sterling, Inc. in April 1940. The company was founded in 1916 and is based in New Berlin, Wisconsin. As of July 9, 2001, Sterling, Inc. operates as a subsidiary of ACS Group, Inc.
