David joined SterlingRisk in 1978. Before joining the company, David studied Risk Management and Insurance at the University of Wisconsin, and received a degree in Finance from Hofstra University. In 1987, David became President and CEO. Since that time the company has grown over 10 times in size to become one of the largest privately-­‐owned insurance brokerages in America with more than 250 employees. David is a published author on insurance related topics and has lectured at the American Management Association on insurance. Under his leadership SterlingRisk marketed and sold the first “online” insurance policy using the Western Union Telex system as a network to reach customers. David has extensive experience in Cyber and related exposures having insured financial institutions and high tech companies for most of his career. David is an expert in Cyber crime claims having consulted on one of the first data breaches that exceeded 40 million people and the resulting litigation and insurance issues. Since that time, he has consulted on every facet of coverage design and claims handling for almost every industry touched by Cyber Crime. In addition to his professional accomplishments, David tirelessly gives back to the community. He serves on the Executive board of UJA Federation of NY, and is the Chairman of the Long Island Campaign. David is Vice President of the board of the Nassau County Police Reserves, having served in the past as its president. He has served on the advisory board of the Federal Drug Agents Foundation, the Homeland Security Foundation, and the Suffolk County Police Reserves. He is the Treasurer of the American Friends of Rambam Hospital. David also serves on the Board of Advisors at The Florence and Robert A. Rosen Family Wellness Center for Law Enforcement & Military Personnel and Their Families at the North Shore-­‐LIJ Health System, one of the largest in the nation.

Donna Raab is a Senior Vice President, Chief Talent Officer at Sterling & Sterling and is based in Woodbury, New York. She has worked as Sr. Benefits Outsourcing Administrator/Account Executive at Sterling & Sterling, Director of Human Resources at AHF INDUSTRIES, and HR Assistant at Pall Corporation. Donna studied at State University of New York - System and St. Joseph's College between 2011 and 2011.

Joanne Krush, the Chief Financial Officer of SterlingRisk, joined the company in February 2015. She brings an extensive financial management background as well as a strategic focus to the company. Prior to joining SterlingRisk, Ms. Krush held various financial positions in the insurance brokerage industry, most recently as SVP/Finance for Hub International Northeast. Prior to Hub, Ms. Krush was the SVP/Finance at Aon/Berkely Travel and VP/Finance at Jardine Insurance Brokers. She began her career at Grant Thornton. Ms. Krush received a BBA in Accounting from Hofstra University. A licensed CPA and CGMA, Ms. Krush is an active member in the New York State Society of CPAs, American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and Institute of Management Accountants. She enjoys Community Service work with the United Way, Mary Brennan INN, and the Insurance Industry Charitable Foundation (IICF).

Robert F. Larocca is Executive Vice President and Chief Strategic Relations Officer of SterlingRisk, which he joined in 1999 and helped transform into one of the nation’s top privately held insurance brokerages. His professional strengths include Strategic Insurance Carrier Relations, Client Management, New Business Development, Strategic Planning, and Executive Management.On the carrier side, Robert sits on several broker advisory boards and regularly interacts with insurers at the senior level. He also enjoys strong ties in the insurance community that have resulted in enhanced opportunities for SterlingRisk clients over the past two decades. Industries that benefit from Robert’s far-reaching relationships and experience include human services, real estate, manufacturing, retail, healthcare, and professional services. Backed by SterlingRisk’s various business units, he is recognized for delivering exceptional client service. Robert is instrumental in new business development at SterlingRisk and has contributed significantly to the brokerage’s growth. Prior to joining SterlingRisk, he held the position of Long Island Branch Manager for American International Group (AIG) after having served as Assistant Vice President at Johnson & Higgins. He began his career in 1991 as an insurance broker with Marsh & McLennan in New York. A 1990 graduate of LIU Post, he received his Bachelor of Arts degree in Business.Robert is a tireless supporter of many local and national organizations. He is a current member of The Nassau County Police Reserves and serves on the boards of RiskProNet, an international network of U.S. based Insurance Brokerages, and the Council for Insuring Private Clients (CIPC). Robert also serves on the board of directors for The Mental Health Association of Nassau County and Nassau County Law Enforcement Exploring. He is a former board member of The Theodore Roosevelt Council of the Boy Scouts of America.
