As a Sustainability Specialist, you ll:
Spend ~ 50% of your time in the field, inspecting and testing residential buildings, and guiding teams to meet their sustainability goals.
Spend the rest of your time translating complex building science into clear guidance, reviewing plans and specs for performance improvements.
Support certifications like ENERGY STAR, Passive House, and LEED.
A strong building science foundation is essential. You should be comfortable with thermal envelopes, mechanical systems, and how design decisions affect performance. This is a hands-on, technical role ideal for someone curious, detail-oriented, and eager to grow.
Responsibilities:
Inspect and test buildings to verify sustainability measures.
Communicate building science principles and green building program requirements to project teams.
Review architectural and mechanical drawings, specifications, and submittals recommending performance improvements.
Prepare documentation, calculations, and analysis for certifications.
Conduct research on technologies, programs and/or policies.
Who You Are:
BS in architectural engineering, building technologies, architecture, construction management or a building-related engineering field.
1+ year experience with building design, construction or sustainability consulting.
Knowledge of multifamily mechanical, structural and thermal envelope systems.
Strong communicator - written, verbal and presentations.
Detail oriented, able to work independently and manage projects.
Onsite experience with construction projects is a plus.
Preferred Knowledge: HERS Rater, LEED for Homes Green Rater, NGBS Green Verifier or BPI Analyst; experience with LEED, HERS Ratings, ENERGY STAR, National Green Building Standard, or Enterprise Green Communities. Utility billing analysis and energy saving spreadsheet calculations. Energy Code and / or ASHRAE standards.
Technical Skills:
Microsoft Office, Adobe Acrobat/Bluebeam.
Ability to read / review construction drawings and specifications.
Experienced driver, comfortable navigating urban traffic.

No Experience Required, PAID Training.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Meter Reader Technicians have assigned routes each day. The meter reader will pick up a handheld device from the local office, which has the route for the day. At the end of the day the handheld device is turned in.
Our “mobile office” approach to work means that you will never have the same day twice. Our technicians work from their personal vehicle utilizing the handheld devices to ensure clear and complete services.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Must be able to work outdoors in all types of weather conditions; outdoor experience preferred
Must be able to walk, bend and lift up to 75 pounds
Must be computer proficient
Must be available to work overtime and some weekends (as needed)
HS diploma or GED required
Must pass drug screen, and background check.
Valid driver's license and safe driving record required.
Customer/Client Service Experience a plus.

The Associate Specialist will provide essential administrative and operational support to multiple sections within Corporate Security. This role requires developing proficiency with the company's card access control system to produce ID cards for employees, contractors, and retirees, and to become proficient with the visitor management system. The Associate Specialist will learn how these systems interface with other technologies across the company to ensure accurate access provisioning and secure operations. This position will also support forming and tabulating data to report on vital information needed across the Department to ensure a safe and secure working environment. Required Education/Experience
High School Diploma/GED and two years of work experience
Relevant Work Experience
Must be able to work courteously with employees, contractors, and visitors requiring an identification badge, required.
Ability to evaluate and formulate trend analysis and recommendations, required.
Full knowledge of computer-based software including Word, Excel and Power Point, required.
Must be proficient in developing analytical and statistical evaluations and reports, trend analysis and performance-based information, required.
Must have excellent oral and written skills and the ability to process reported security incidents, give overviews to department management and articulate the pertinent facts in a clear, concise summary, required.
Must have strong analytical skills and be capable of making decisions promptly and effectively, required.

The selected candidate will be assigned a System Emergency Assignment (i.e., an emergency response role) and will be expected to work non-business hours during emergencies, which may include nights, weekends, and holidays.
Must be able and willing to travel within Company service territory, as needed.
Core Responsibilities
Become proficient in the companys card access software. Process and issue ID cards for employees, contractors, and retirees.
Visitor Management Support daily operations of the visitor management system, coordinate temporary access approvals and visitor workflows. Understand how visitor card access systems integrate with other corporate systems.
Assist the Senior Specialist in preparing monthly department Key Risk Indicators.
Develop and perform a variety of strategic, tactical, and administrative duties relating to the collection, categorizing, analyzing and disseminating of timely, accurate and useful information. These include but are not limited to developing analytical and data resources to assist in proactive and targeted investigations, identification of crime patterns and trends and identification of known and repeat offenders.
Develop metrics to categorize work performed and staff activity with an aim to better catalogue and trend work activities.
Use computer databases, electronic spreadsheets, desktop publishing, word processing, and statistical applications to evaluate, analyze, and present data.
Provide administrative support to the training coordinator for as well as track training and maintain documentation.
Perform required front desk duties including but not limited to handling office mail, answering phones and greeting visitors to the department.
Administrator for up keeping all department forms, directories, etc.
Respond to ad hoc requests as directed by the Chief Security Officer and Managers.
Perform other related tasks and assignments as required.
