The College of Professional Education (CPE) at Stevens Institute of Technology invites applications for non-tenure track, full-time teaching faculty positions in management, leadership, analytics, and organizational effectiveness. The rank of the appointment will depend on experience and qualifications. CPE leads Stevens' portfolio of professional and corporate education, providing industry-aligned programs that integrate technology, management, and applied practice for graduate and professional learners.
Teaching responsibilities will occur primarily in fully online graduate and professional programs offered through Stevens Online within the College of Professional Education (CPE).
Responsibilities:
Successful candidates are expected to have a strong commitment to excellence in teaching at the graduate and professional level. They will design and deliver online courses in areas such as leadership, management, organizational behavior, project and program management, business analytics for decision making, digital transformation, and innovation, with emphasis on application in technology-intensive organizations. Faculty will primarily deliver instructions in fully online formats.
Faculty are expected to contribute to the development of micro-credentials, certificates, and corporate learning programs; design experiential and case-based learning experiences; advise and mentor professional learners; and contribute to the intellectually vibrant, interdisciplinary, collaborative, diverse, innovative, and entrepreneurial culture at Stevens and within CPE.
Required Education and Experience:
Applicants must have earned a Ph.D. or other terminal degree in a management-related field such as management, leadership, organizational behavior, strategy, business analytics, or a closely related discipline. Exceptional candidates with a master's degree and extensive, relevant industry or executive experience will also be considered. The College especially seeks candidates with a strong applied background in leadership development, analytics for business impact, digital transformation, or organizational change, and a demonstrated record of, or potential for, excellence in teaching graduate and professional learners, including executive and corporate audiences.

The department of Educational Services and Leadership houses graduate programs in educational leadership (CPED member), school psychology (NASP approved), counseling in educational settings (CACREP approved), higher education, and school administration and a post-baccalaureate program in school nursing. The Rutgers-Camden Faculty of Arts and Sciences Dean's Office is seeking an instructor who can teach the Critical Analysis and Reasoning Skills ( CARS ) section of the MCAT exam and also serve as the instructor of record for the MCAT workshop course that is offered to undergraduate students for academic credit. The course may utilize materials from a test preparation company such as Kaplan and will be supplemented by American Association of Medical Colleges ( AAMC ) materials and direct instruction. The course will cover all four sections of the MCAT exam, with separate instructors teaching each of the three other sections. The instructor of record will coordinate the work of the other instructors and ensure that the course runs efficiently and effectively. The course will be offered in person in Camden, NJ. Two of the four topics on the MCAT will be addressed each class session, which will be held one afternoon a week. The other two topics will be taught the following week. The CARS instructor therefore will attend class once every other week. The instructor of record should expect to spend approximately 2 hours every other week instructing students, with additional time allotted for grading, office hours and various administrative duties related to oversight of the course.
