    The Department of Mechanical Engineering at Stevens Institute of Technology is seeking a highly motivated and talented Post-Doctoral Scholar to join a cutting-edge project focused on developing a new class of thermal diodes. The research will investigate condensation and evaporation heat transport mechanisms through heterogeneous nanostructures under varying temperature gradients. Key Responsibilities Conduct advanced micro/nano-fabrication and fluid/thermal experiments at the micro/nanoscale. Analyze experimental results and perform heat transfer modeling and analysis. Prepare and publish high-quality research papers in peer-reviewed journals. Develop and deliver presentations for conferences, seminars, and project updates. Contribute to the preparation of research proposals and grant applications. Mentor and supervise graduate and undergraduate researchers. Collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary research teams within and outside Stevens. Qualifications Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering, Materials Science, Chemical Engineering, Physics, or a related field. Strong background in heat transfer, thermofluids, or nanoscale energy transport. Hands-on experience with micro/nanofabrication techniques and thermal/fluidic experiments. Demonstrated record of research publications in relevant areas. Excellent communication, teamwork, and mentoring skills. Department Mechanical Engineering Compensation Range In compliance with the New Jersey Wage Transparency Act, the annual base range for this position is $56,000-$60,000. This range represents the University's good faith estimate of possible compensation at the time of posting. Posting Summary Rutgers, the State University of New Jersey, is seeking a Temporary Research Assistant for the Medicine - Infectious Disease Department within the New Jersey Medical School. The Temporary Assistant (Research) will perform data management and programming tasks. The data management tasks include using SAS programming language for quality assurance of collected data (clinical, laboratory, demographic), using Tableau software for creating and maintain dashboards, routine data management tasks for data transmitted from the international sites, manuscript development, proposal assistance and other relevant scientific activities. Among the key duties of the position are the following: * Works with Data Managers and research coordinators to develop SAS scripts for quality assurance and quality control activities. * Works with our staff and stakeholders to create ad hoc databases for analysis using programming language. * Creates and maintains interactive dashboards on Tableau under DOMC staff supervision. * Works with investigators, statisticians and study coordinators in design and set-up of case report forms (CRFs) for specific clinical, translational, and basic science protocols. * Works with study coordinators and data managers to develop appropriate and detailed standard operating procedures, training manuals and other materials for study conduct and data collection in the clinic, field and laboratory. * Reviews incoming completed case report forms (CRFs) for accuracy and completion from the field sites.
