This position will also participate in special projects. Program Structure: Throughout the program, interns will gain exposure to key departments and functions. Each experience is guided by professional bankers who provide practical training, project assignments, and role-specific knowledge. Experiential learning includes: Retail Banking: Learn the fundamentals of customer service, account management, deposits, and daily branch operations. Observe and gain firsthand experience on building relationships with and supporting customers in their banking needs. Lending: Explore the lending process from application to closing. Work alongside commercial and consumer lenders to understand loan origination, underwriting, and relationship management. Credit Analysis: Develop analytical skills by reviewing financial statements and credit underwriting presentations alongside experienced credit professionals. Finance & Accounting: Assist in financial reporting, budgeting, and other projects to understand how a community bank maintains financial health and achieves financial performance. Requirements: Ideal Candidates: The ideal program candidate is a motivated, relationship driven individual who is service and people oriented and pursuing a degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Economics, or related field.
