In this role, you will support a variety of documentation-related activities to ensure compliance with company standards and regulatory requirements. YOUR ROLE * Support documentation processes and databases for regional and regulatory activities. * Assist with reviewing SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures) and routing them for approval. * Manage documentation files, including storage and records retention, to ensure efficient and easy access. * Collaborate effectively with internal team members to meet company and customer needs. * Work with global teams to ensure best practices are communicated and implemented. * Prepare and deliver presentations on organizational status updates. Overview The Inside Sales Representative Intern is responsible for selling products and/or services within an assigned territory or customer base. This role involves responding to inquiries, negotiating pricing, issuing quotes, and following up to close sales. The intern will work closely with distributors, representatives, and field sales personnel to ensure customer satisfaction and achieve sales targets. Key Responsibilities Sales and Customer Interaction: * Utilize sales techniques to respond to inquiries from distributors and representatives. * Negotiate pricing and issue quote responses in a timely manner. * Analyze historical quote data and follow up on quotes to close sales. * Address budgetary quotes for new products and track competitive pricing. * Align distribution pricing with OEM/EMS contract pricing for direct customers. * Link registrations with quotes for follow-up and work with field sales on large quotes. * Ensure follow-through to order entry. Distributor and Claim Management: * Monitor and manage distributor ship and debits for distributor claims. * Resolve cost discrepancies and ship and debit (SADA) claims with Finance. * Provide updated product information to representatives and distributors, including pricing, alternate sources, product availability, and technical specifications. Product and Order Management: * Coordinate product returns for quality and manage division recalls with distributors. * Follow quarantined orders through resolution, including returns or release and shipment to distributors. * Track and expedite delinquent product shipments and set up new customers for drop shipments. * Address ad hoc logistic requests, including AHLR requests (shipping). * Review backlog for customer demand/forecast accuracy and monitor distributor inventory. * Work with divisions to secure products for orders, ensure on-time deliveries, and confirm orders based on lead times. * Manage order entry for new product introductions (NPI). Internal and External Coordination: * Interface with distributors, representatives, and company personnel to verify product status and resolve issues. * Cover and be knowledgeable of another ISR's assigned area and customer base. * Periodically travel to assigned territories to meet with field sales personnel and distributors. * Participate in quarterly business reviews and train reps/distributors on tools and processes. * Engage in continuous product training. Quality and Process Management: * Ensure all aspects of quality in work, processes, tools, products, and results. * Utilize tools such as STAM, SVI, AHLR, RMS, PRISMA, and Memphis (financial tool for credit adjustments). * Perform other duties as assigned.
