THE ROLE
As the Inventory Associate, you will:
Efficiently and accurately process incoming and outgoing shipments to and from our distribution centres, from store to store, and to our clients
Strategically place product in the back room, ensuring product is evenly distributed to achieve optimal balance and stocked at the ideal quantities
Uphold the standards of product display, ensuring the right product is in the right place per the right stock level
Enable seamlessly integrated cross-channel shopping experiences by supporting with omni-channel service management
Support in the seamless operations of all aspects of the retail space, including window installations, fitting room operations, supplies and equipment management, and technology support

Summary:
The Warehouser position is responsible for accurately picking, verifying, and transferring material physically all around the factory. They will also use an RF Scan Gun to transact the inventory in our system accurately as well when completing the following duties:
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Read and comprehend materials lists and part numbers to move inventory.
Count parts being transferred and maintain inventory accuracy.
Stack picked materials on carts or pallets using trained methods so that parts are not damaged and are easily accessible to others.
Verify a quantity of parts in a pick or location through counting.
Operate a hand pallet jack or pushcart to transport materials.
Working on their feet and accessing different parts from different level planes, on the floor or in a rack.
Consolidation of parts into the correct maintained locations
Maintain 5S standards set forth by Supervisor
Skills:

Under the general direction of the Training Manager, the Associate Distribution Operations Trainer is responsible for designing, delivering, and evaluating comprehensive training programs for Associate Distribution Operators (ADOs), Dispatchers, and Field Personnel. This position ensures AES Ohio's distribution operations are conducted safely, reliably, and in compliance with all applicable standards.
The role supports AES Ohio's mission to strengthen workforce competency, system reliability, and regulatory compliance through continuous learning, technical proficiency, and operational excellence. This position also contributes to process improvement by reviewing OMS data for quality assurance and supporting compliance audits.
This position follows a Monday-Friday schedule but requires flexibility for after-hours, weekends, or storm-response support.
Key Responsibilities
Training Design & Development
Design, develop, and implement role-based curriculum for Distribution Operations and Field Personnel aligned with AES standards and regulatory requirements.
Develop Instructor-Led Training (ILT), Train-the-Trainer (TTT), Simulation Scenarios, Computer-Based Training (CBT), and Just-in-Time (JIT) modules.
Create Instructor Guides, Learner Guides, and self-study materials.
Collaborate with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs), Operations Managers, Safety Leaders, and Engineering teams to ensure content accuracy.
Evaluate training effectiveness through performance metrics, post-training assessments, and feedback surveys.
Apply adult learning principles and the ADDIE methodology in all training design and delivery.
Training Delivery & Support
Facilitate training sessions, demonstrations, and curriculum reviews for leadership approval.
Coordinate logistics including facilities, equipment setup, attendance tracking, and certification documentation.
Deliver cross-departmental training to strengthen communication between Dispatch, Field Operations, and Construction.

Operational & Technical Support
Support technology rollouts, ADMS/OMS system go-lives, and user-acceptance testing (UAT) with on-site guidance.
Participate in developing and revising operational procedures, switching protocols, and communication standards.

Qualifications
Education:

Review and investigate inventory reports to resolve discrepancies and track stock movement
Organize storage areas to promote efficiency, safety, and accessibility
