We are seeking a detail oriented and efficient Receiving Clerk to join our dynamic team in a solar manufacturing company. The Receiving Clerk will be responsible for the accurate and timely receipt, inspection, and documentation of incoming materials, supplies and equipment essential for our manufacturing processes. This role plays a critical part in maintaining the smooth operation of our supply chain and production activities.
Key Responsibilities:
Material Receipt and Inspection:
Receive incoming shipments of materials and supplies
Inspect shipments for accuracy, damage and compliance with purchase orders
Document discrepancies or damaged items and communicate with suppliers and internal departments
Inventory Management:
Ensure materials are properly labeled and stored in designated areas
Maintain accurate records of received goods in inventory management systems
Assist in cycle counting and inventory audits
Documentation and Record Keeping:

Coordination and Communication:

Qualifications:
High School diploma or equivalent; additional technical training is a plus
Proven experience in a receiving, shipping, or inventory control role, preferably in a manufacturing environment
Knowledge of inventory management systems and advanced computer skills (e.g. Microsoft Office, ERP software)
Strong organizational and time management abilities
Attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record keeping
Physical ability to lift and move materials (25 -50 lbs) and experience operating warehouse equipment
Preferred Skills

Qualifications:
Ability to use NEFCO's ERP software system
Basic knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, or Outlook a plus
Basic computer skills
Must have a positive, hard-working attitude
Ability to establish priorities, work independently and little supervision
Ability to multitask
Excellent communication skills
Ability to stand on concrete floor for long periods of time
Must be able to work in various climate conditions such as cold, heat, humidity for a long period of time
Ability to crouch, stoop, kneel, crawl and twist for lifting
Ability to safely lift up to 70 lbs.
Ability to review and interpret computer images and written documents
Analytical ability including basic math skills
High school diploma (or equivalent)
This is a non-exempt position, eligible for overtime.
