Maintains control of all inventory items purchased and produced.
Essential Functions:
• Compiles inventory information such as consumption rate, characteristics, value, and stock on hand to determine stock supply and need for replenishment
• Monitor sales and inventory levels to determine level of safety stock and provide notification to supervisor or manager
• Assists Production and QC with manufacturing related issues
• Maintain material on shelves and shop floor
• Place stocking orders, re-orders and special orders
• Assist with loading / unloading materials from trucks with use of forklift and / or pallet jack
• Chemical management to include stocking, and checking expiration dates
• Work order processing to include order picking and issuing work orders
• Daily Cycle Counts - create count sheets
• Bin Stock Control and Replenishment
• Material logistics between multiple locations - delivery and pick-up
• Verifies and keeps records on outgoing shipments and prepares items for shipment including international and hazmat
• Resolve inventory and work order discrepancies
