THE ROLE

**What You'll Do as a Stock Clerk:**
+ Receive incoming shipments; verify quantities and quality against purchase orders and delivery documents
+ Store and organize materials in designated locations within the supply cage, ensuring items are easily accessible and properly labeled, including hazardous materials (e.g., batteries, oils, lubricants, chemicals) in accordance with company policies

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
This position requires a high school diploma. It also requires one to hold a valid drivers' license. HAZMAT training preferred, but not required. Forklift truck experience is preferred. Aviation experience preferred, but not required.

We're seeking a Stockroom Clerk to join our team in Ann Arbor, MI. In this role, you'll be a vital part of our operations, helping us maintain accurate inventory and ensure that production has the materials it needs to succeed.What You'll Be DoingAs a Stockroom Clerk, your core responsibilities will include:
Maintaining and distributing materials: Control, track, and reorder all indirect materials necessary for production and production-supported activities.
Inventory management: Conduct inventory counts, perform scheduled cycle counts, maintain perpetual inventory controls, and document discrepancies.
Kitting and preparation: Prepare materials for work orders, print and label assembly instructions and drawings, ensure kits are complete, and communicate shortages to supervisors.
In addition, you will also be expected to assist with shipping, stocking, distributing, and packaging duties as needed, and perform computer tasks related to stockroom operations while interacting with staff for material inquiries.What We're Looking ForTo be successful in this role, you should have the following:Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent
Previous experience in a stockroom, warehouse, or similar role
Ability to read and write receiving documentation, perform basic math functions and metric conversions
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
Skills:
Attention to detail: Ensures accurate inventory tracking and proper labeling of materials.
Computer proficiency: Skilled in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and experience with spreadsheets and database software.
Communication: Strong skills to coordinate with production staff and address material needs effectively.
