Each roll is scanned as they are being unloaded from the truck and before they are placed in the warehouse. Ensure product is good quality and no damage as it is stored. Proper paper work must be maintained for all loading/unloading processes. Responsible for the unloading of Latex and Raw Glass trucks. Report any damage to the Shipping Manager immediately. LOADING The truck bumps the dock and after securing the trailer, verify with driver the order number and/or destination. Use computer to pull the order/pick plan. Get the Tare Weight from Shipping Manager Load the rolls on cradles and/or blocking as needed. Maximize the shipping weight without exceeding the DOT maximum. Pick plans/ roll numbers are transferred to Shipping Manager for completion of BOL.
