Responsibilities
Receive, select, and load materials
Operate forklift safely and efficiently
Verify accuracy of orders after packaging and loading
Provide basic customer service to internal and external customers
Work with other team members to fulfill orders and complete tasks daily
Maintain clean working area
Follow all safety procedures (OSHA compliance)
Perform daily safety checks on forklifts
Perform additional duties as assigned
Qualifications
Basic:
High school diploma, GED, or 2+ years equivalent experience
Able to understand and follow safety/work instructions
Comfortable with physical work in all weather conditions
Ability to use hand tools and chainsaw
Preferred:
Forklift experience (sit-down/counterbalance)
Familiarity with building materials
Able to measure and calculate material lengths
Knowledge of EWP products and the ability to use a chainsaw.
Work Environment
High traffic warehouse and yard
Physically demanding; outdoors in all weather conditions

Position Overview
Receives and distributes tires and other items within warehouse by performing the following duties.
Job Responsibilities
· Provides customers with knowledgeable, courteous and prompt service at all times, while being sensitive to their needs.

· Adheres to and supports safe work practices and Commercial Tire's safety guidelines and standards
· Receives all inbound freight within warehouse, unloads freight on truck and checks off orders in a timely fashion. Maintains high accuracy level in check-off procedures.
· Reads work orders to determine items to be moved, gathered or distributed. Loads trucks.
· Uses computer to assist with locating types of tires by manufacturer; transfers inventory to stores; closes out transfer requests and bills the appropriate location.
· Assists with slow-moving, obsolete inventory items and reports observations to supervisor.
· Assists with requests received from store personnel or outside customers, researches problem if necessary and responds in a timely fashion.
· Maintains a clean, neat and orderly warehouse environment with inventory stored in its proper place. Helps with maintaining over-stocked areas.
· May operate forklift and other vehicles, if necessary.
· Completes all required training.
· All other duties as assigned to support the business.

Summary
This job is responsible for operating material handling equipment in a safe manner for the purpose of moving, locating, stacking and counting merchandise.
Key Responsibilities
* Executes the movement of cased product and totes to and from Packaging.
* Accurately monitors daily shipping activities and properly prepares trucks and railcars for shipment.
* Ensures the movement of railcars in a safe and efficient manner using the track mobile.
* Conducts cycle counts, reconciles inventory and audits data.
* Operates a forklift and conducts daily inspections of forklift equipment.
* Utilizes computer and computer programs, including DCS (Data Collection System) to communicate, document, track shift information and create spreadsheets. Ensures that all documents and reports are completed accurately in a timely and efficient manner.
* Ensures self-compliance with Company policies and plant procedures, and the Collective Bargaining Agreement.
* May assist with training other plant personnel.
* Maintains Company standards for safety, quality, food safety, sanitation and GMPs.
* Works within safety rules and regulations in actively avoiding injury to self and others.
* Ensures proper food safety sanitation and cleaning procedures of all processing equipment and tools.
* Maintains necessary level of communication with team members and other support groups and does so in a participative management style conducive with operational goals.
* Ensures that additional accountabilities required by management are handled in a manner necessary to meet operational standards.
Qualifications
* High school diploma or GED is required.
* One year of forklift operating experience is required.
* Push-pull forklift experience needed.
