The Material Handler will fulfill orders, accept incoming shipments, and oversee the general organization of the warehouse. The position reports to the Procurement and Inventory Manager. Other guidance is provided by the Inventory Purchasing Clerk.
Duties/Responsibilities:
Restocks supplies and inventory.
Accepts, verifies, inspects, and records all deliveries according to policy.
Records, reports, and returns defective items.
Maintains the organization and cleanliness of the warehouse area, including the production area.
Handles complaints related to shipments; notifies supervisor of any shipping or receiving issues.
Picks and stages materials for projects and departments.
Familiarization with inventory items and product codes to perform cycle counts.
Receives, distributes, and stores products as directed in designated, secure locations.
Transport and load materials, supplies, and finished goods (manually and/or using forklifts and carts).
Ensures and maintains a safe and clean warehouse environment.
Performs other related duties as assigned.
Will Call pickups.
Participate in monthly and yearly inventory counts.
Wire stripping

Performs other related duties as assigned.
Required Skills/Abilities:
Proficient with inventory control systems.

We are searching for a motivated Forklift/Material Handler that will be part of our manufacturing plant team The Forklift Operator plays a crucial role in the distribution process by ensuring efficient handling, movement, and storage of materials and products. Core Responsibilities include but are not limited to loading and unloading materials, order picking (case pick), organizing inventory, and maintaining a clean and organized workspace. What To Expect:
Ensure materials that are physically counted on dock match packing list and purchase order data. If discrepancies arise question dock personnel or purchasing when Receive items into AIMS through use of manual input.
Organize and distribute receipt labels upon receiving new materials.
Communicate PO needs/issues to Corporate Purchasing on daily basis.
Manually issue out materials from AIMS for individuals without a scan gun or other special occasions.
Answer calls from production departments regarding inventory levels and delivery times.
Complete packing slips for outbound rack/scrap loads for vinyl, aluminum, cardboard and paper; also transfer orders to receiving plants.
Validate scrap vinyl, and aluminum log sheets against database reports for accuracy
Assist floor personnel with checking inbound materials and inventory discrepancies.
Process transfer orders in AIMS for material transferred to other receiving plants and correcting material discrepancies.
Perform additional duties as assigned, including cross-training and floor support as needed
What We're Looking For:
High school diploma or GED.
Experience of 2-3 years in a manufacturing / production environment.
Must have valid driver's license.
Ability to pass company required training and certification for forklift license.
Basic math skills required to perform accurate inventory counts and quantity verifications.
Ability to adapt in fast-paced environment and motivated to become well-versed within multiple areas of operations.
Strong attention detail and willingness to work independently or as part of a team and contribute to all areas of operations.
Clear communication to all team members and able to read / comprehend English language (Fully Bi-lingual) is a plus in Spanish and English.
Committed to cross-train, learn, and develop your skillset further.

Work Environment:
The atmosphere is that of a manufacturing plant. The position will primarily work where moving machinery produces noise. Employees must wear Personal Protective Equipment that is issued for that location. Temperature can range from extreme cold to extreme heat. Physical fitness to include movements, positioning, remaining stationary which include standing, walking, sitting, lifting, carrying, climbing, pushing/pulling, forward bending, reaching, kneeling, crouching, squatting, crawling, postural balancing, manipulating, trunk rotation, handling, gripping, and talking (hearing). Qualifications and Essential Skills:
One + years of related material handling or inventory control experience required.
Previous forklift, truck/trailer experience, required.
Forklift license, preferred.
Ability to read tape measure up to 1/32”, and ability to interpret dial caliper measurements and hand tools as needed.

Picking Responsibilities

All quality control functions will be processed as defined by the Standard Operating Procedures.
Safety, Housekeeping, and Compliance
* All Associates are responsible for executing all safety protocols and will accomplish all job tasks in a manner that promotes safety.
* Associates are responsible for the cleanliness and orderliness of the facility and are required to maintain a clean, neat, orderly work area and assist in security of the warehouse.

Equipment Operation
