Primary Responsibilities
Load and unload freight on trailers using a motorized forklift, pallet jack or manually in compliance with state and federal DOT guidelines. Use various loading techniques, such as loading tight or cross loading.
Transport self and/or freight continuously throughout the service center on non-forgiving surfaces.
Utilize Dock Yard Management System to consistently monitor freight shipment locations throughout the service center.
Read and interpret shipping labels. Familiarity with, and in some cases ability to complete the various forms utilized in freight movement such as shipping orders, city stripping manifests, freight bills, overage/damage movement reports and exception forms.
Hand load, rewrap or stack freight as necessary.
Insure the quality loading of all trailers.
Secure freight inside trailers using appropriate tools and supplies (e.g. pallets, straps, rope).
Frequent contact with service center personnel; fast-pace and deadline oriented.

What will you do? The Material Handling Associate is responsible for receiving materials into the ERP system, relocating and storing inventory, and performing quality checks to ensure compliance with standards.
This role utilizes material handling equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks to move items between storage areas.
Key responsibilities include maintaining accurate inventory records, ensuring proper storage practices, and inspecting incoming materials for damage or discrepancies.
By effectively managing material flow, the Material Handling Associate plays a vital role in supporting production schedules and ensuring timely, high-quality shipments.
Duties and Responsibilities: Accurately tag and label all parts, verifying quantities and part numbers.
Ensure all required documentation and certifications are received, reviewed, and properly stored in the ERP system.
Route parts to designated locations according to traveler instructions.
Verify completeness of paperwork, including packing lists and related documents.
Pack products with care, following customer specifications and internal standards.
Process internal parts to their next operation or appropriate storage location.
Create and maintain bin locations for incoming goods; organize parts accordingly.
Prepare kits and deliver goods as requested by the incoming department.
Stage large items in their assigned locations.
Participate in cycle counts, ensuring stock adjustments are properly approved and executed in ERP.
Maintain a clean, organized work area in compliance with 6S standards.
Regularly remove debris from the warehouse and dispose of it appropriately.
Perform additional tasks and responsibilities as assigned.

Position Overview
Operate forklift to safely load and unload materials from trucks and trailers.
Transport materials to and from storage areas, production lines, and loading docks.
Complete delivery paperwork as needed.
Perform routine maintenance.
Comply with company policies and guidelines.
Update inventory, lists, records, and log all completed tasks.
Operate a 26' Box Truck as needed:
Transporting Goods: Safely transporting goods or passengers to their destinations.
Loading and Unloading: Safely load and unload cargo, ensuring it is secure and protected. Operate forklift and/or pallet jack.
Compliance: Logging miles, driving hours, and other activities to comply with federal and state laws.
Safety Inspections: Conducting vehicle inspections to ensure safety and compliance with regulations.
Route and Stops Management: Navigating routes using GPS, Geotab and other technology provided by the company.
Paperwork: Completing necessary paperwork related to deliveries or driving.
Communication: Report any issues or incidents immediately to dispatch. Develop strong relationships that create trust with our customers.

Personal Protective Equipment (PPE): Wear appropriate PPE (gloves, safety glasses) as required on all customer sites.
