Position Overview: We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Material Handler to join our production support team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for handling, organizing, and distributing materials efficiently throughout the facility to support daily manufacturing operations. This role requires accuracy, teamwork, and hands-on experience with ERP systems and forklifts. Key Responsibilities: Receiving and inspecting incoming materials and supplies. Pulling, picking, and issuing parts to production departments based on work orders or kits. Building and managing production kits to ensure all necessary materials are available for assembly. Transporting materials safely and efficiently between workstations and departments. Maintaining accurate material locations and quantities within the ERP system. Performing cycle counts and supporting inventory accuracy efforts. Labeling and organizing materials for easy identification and retrieval. Ensuring materials are staged and delivered on time to meet daily production schedules. Refilling production lines and work areas to prevent material shortages. Assisting in preparing materials for shipping, packaging, and palletizing when needed. Communicating with leads, supervisors, and production teams regarding shortages, damages, or discrepancies. Recording all material movements and transactions in the ERP system accurately. Following all established inventory and material handling procedures. Operating forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment safely and efficiently. Performing daily inspections of assigned equipment and reporting maintenance needs. Maintaining a clean, organized, and safe work area following 5S principles. Adhering to all safety policies and procedures set by Invincible Boat Company. Required Experience & Education: Proven experience as a Material Handler, Warehouse Associate, or similar role. Experience using ERP or inventory management systems (e.g., SAP, Epicor, or similar). Forklift certification or experience required. Working knowledge of basic computer applications (Word, Excel, data entry). Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and work on your feet throughout the shift. Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred. Desired Experience: Prior experience in manufacturing environments. Experience in kitting operations or line-side material support. Understanding of lean manufacturing and warehouse best practices. Key Traits: Dependable and punctual with a strong work ethic. Detail-oriented and organized in material tracking and documentation.
