2nd Shift Part Time Forklift Operator I
The 2nd Shift Part Time Forklift Operator I is responsible for various assignments, duties, and tasks within the Warehouse that may or may not require the use of a PIT Forklift, such as building pallets, inbound unloading, outbound loading, replenishment of the pick floor, or Vertique mezzanine areas, and, or the fulfillment of customer orders. This role will travel throughout the warehouse pick area to retrieve and stack specific products and quantities; per the Pick Ticket assigned while maintaining any determined expectations of safety, accuracy, and, or efficiency. This position performs other tasks assigned by Warehouse Management including, pallet stacking, handling damage restack and, or rework, stacking product, and picking up pallets with a Pallet Jack, when applicable.
Duties & Responsibilities
* Retrieve and place quantities of cases of product onto a pre-determined pallet(s) as instructed by the assigned pick ticket in a manner that is safe and builds a stable pallet of product, also known as Pallet Building, meeting or exceeding warehouse expectations in safety and accuracy
* Unload inbound product, raw materials, and/or deposit Items and transports from the docks to their designated storage areas within the warehouse in a safe, accurate, and efficient manner

Job SummaryThe Warehouse Operator Level 2 is responsible for, but not limited to, the accurate picking of orders of material for production and packaging. These orders include tasks generated by production, packaging, and formulation for materials used in commercial and non-commercial batches. The wrapping, movement, labelling, and storage of semi-finished and finished product from production and packaging is also a primary duty.
The operator is also responsible for the safe transport and proper storage of various types of hazardous and non-hazardous waste originating from the production, packaging, and formulation areas in the designated waste room for further processing. Proper handling and disposal of trash and debris collected in various areas is also a responsibility. Other material handling responsibilities include but are not limited to: loading/unloading trucks, perform receipts of raw materials, repalletize material, support cycle counting, drums containing flammable liquids, gas cylinders, stacks of wooden, plastic, or metal pallets, and formulation tanks.
The operator is expected to be comfortable performing various transactions in the SAP P83 system using both a handheld RF device and PC. The Warehouse Operator II is also required to perform the day-to-day duties of a Warehouse Operator I as business dictates.
This position reports to the Warehouse Supervisor, and maintains contact with Warehouse Group Leader, other Warehouse Operators, and personnel from various other departments during the regular course of duties.
• Hourly Range: $22-$25

· Supports the receiving area with unloading and loading trucks in the dock area
· Perform receiving of raw materials (API, Excipients, Packaging, Operating supplies/materials), as assigned, within SAP P55 and P83/EWM systems.
· Repalletizes, wrap, label, stores raw material (API, Excipients, Packaging, Operating supplies/materials) from receiving area to warehouse storage location
· Performs and ensures required material movements are properly placed in the rack and scanned using P83/EWM module of the SAP system
· Ensure proper HU label has been placed on the pallet before/after each movement of pallet to/from location in the rack and within P83/EWM module of the SAP system
· Pick orders of material originating from the production, packaging, and formulation departments for use in production batches
· Move, wrap, label, and store pallets of semi-finished product from production areas for further processing by inspection and packaging
· Move, wrap, label, and store pallets of finished product from packaging areas for shipment
· Move uninspected semi-finished product to inspection staging bays as requested by packaging personnel or inspection schedule

· Ship small packages, LTL shipments via FedEx and other carriers

· Transport properly waste, components, semi-finished product, finished product, etc. to and from various buildings on site as needed
· Assists personnel from warehouse and other departments by transporting supplies and equipment to and from various locations within the hygiene-zone
· Maintain working area cleanliness
· Escalate immediately any issues impacting job function
· Ensure following procedures and cGMP including but not limited to assigned logbooks
· Support, as needed, cycle counts
· Utilize various forms of powered and non-powered industrial equipment
· Perform various transactions in P83/EWM module of the SAP system

REQUIREMENTS
· High school diploma/GED required.

Job Description
We are seeking a reliable and skilled Forklift Operator to manage the movement of materials and products within our manufacturing plant. We are seeking individuals who are committed to safety, have a positive attitude, excellent work ethic, and a desire to work in a manufacturing facility.
Key Functions: Operate large forklift to move pack of green lumber from the sawmill, correctly stack the lumber on kiln carts for drying, breakdown carts of dried lumber and place packs of dried lumber onto the track system to feed the lumber to the planer mill.
Operate and maintain CDK kilns (troubleshooting, ID parts, instrument calibration, maintenance, and PMs) to ensure quality dried lumber, including cleaning of the kilns and maintaining housekeeping standards in the area.
Manage lumber rotation (green and dry) and follow QC guidelines (track/file control charts, audits, etc.
) for drying lumber.
Input requisitions into SAPSet-up and tear down kiln cars Band lumber at green stacker Keep the kiln area, green and rough dry lumber yards clean QualificationsHigh school diploma or equivalent.
Minimum of one year of experience operating a large forklift.
Able to work safely and follow all company policies and procedures.
Previous experience drying lumber preferred Must have demonstrated leadership and team skills.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Must have good computer skills.
(Strong Excel skills) Self-motivated and able to work with minimal supervision.
Good decision-making skills.
Able to conduct visual equipment inspections, perform basic preventive maintenance and assist maintenance in troubleshooting/improving equipment.
Must be able to do basic math, read dials, and insert data into spreadsheets.
Must be willing to work a 12-hour, rotating/variable shift, including weekends, overtime, and holidays.
Able to work in extreme temperatures, in dusty and noisy conditions, while wearing safety equipment.
