Collaborate with Nursing Unit staff members on planning, logistics, and supply continuity. Follows hospital, TJC, DPS, OSHA and CMS guidelines and procedures for supply stocking and rotation. The material handler may be present in secure medication storage areas and are allowed to handle and distribute medications supplied by the BWH materials management department. Perform other duties as assigned.

What Warehouse Operations contributes to Cardinal Health: Operations is responsible for materials handling and product distribution in a distribution or manufacturing environment. Includes warehousing and fulfillment of materials and products, transportation, inventory management as well as demand, supply and manufacturing planning.
Performing/controlling a combination of manual or automated tasks necessary for the receipt, storage, and shipment of product. This may include functions of receiving, picking, packing, shipping, staging, transporting, storage, delivery, etc. Also responsible for the efficient flow of products from the point of product receipt from vendors to the shipment of products (via prescribed service parameters) to a variety of internal and external customers.
The primary purpose of the Lead Associate, Warehouse Operations is to support the Warehouse Supervisor through either inbound or outbound management of the warehouse floor and to facilitate effective warehouse operations through direction of warehouse staff, in accordance with operational priorities. In addition, this job assists in coordination of pick, pack, and ship of shipments. This job also delegates work among the warehouse staff and produces reports on workforce productivity and quality. The Lead Associate, Warehouse Operations also communicates with customers outside the warehouse to communicate disruptions, provide updates on delivery timeframes and ensure customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities:
· Follows standard operating procedures to assess inventory levels, submit orders, and audit warehouse operations to facilitate successful operational activities within the warehouse.
· Directs workflow on the floor of the warehouse, including packing, unloading, shipping and managing of delivery schedule.
· Analyzes internal data and reports on productivity and efficiency to help determine when and where the warehouse is performing better or worse than expected.
· Coordinates with Warehouse Supervisors to align on warehouse and inventory priorities, in alignment with operational objectives.
· Assists in inbound and outbound workload forecasting through historical and trend analysis to determine how labor should be utilized.
· Assists in inventory management, and helps with stocking and shipping, as necessary.
· Promote and enforce a positive and safe work environment for all team members and peers.
Qualifications:
4+ years of experience preferred
High School Diploma or GED preferred
Ability to lift up to 50lbs

As a Material Handler/Coordinator, you will be responsible for accurate and timely completion of all kitting or put-away activities. You will help ensure safe storage and or retrieval of all material stored in the warehouse. You will work with a team and performs activities at the direction of Epicor material Queues Visual Management, and from Leadership.
Duties and Responsibilities
Performs physical and administrative tasks involved in the handling and storage of inventory.
Executes distribution of materials, parts, supplies and equipment.
Participates in material movement with various equipment, including PLTs.
Participates initiatives to update and improve material data stored in Epicor and Omnify
Helps ensure clean and safe conditions throughout area of responsibility.
Collects, and reports departments KPIs to Leadership as directed.
Executes layout changes to warehouse racking at the direction of Leadership.
Qualifications
For the Material Handler role: 1-2 years' experience in a role responsible for issuing and handling material.
For the Material Coordinator role: 2-4 years combined experience in a Warehouse and Production environment.
High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent experience.
Good math skills and intermediate computer knowledge.
Effective verbal and written communication skills.
Previous experience with Epicor or other WMS/ERP preferred.
Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.
Previous experience installing and removing pallet racking preferred
Pay Rates:
