Position Summary
Accurately processes all customer and replenishment orders in a manner to ensure safety, quality and performance goals are met on a daily basis.
Position Responsibilities
1. Pull raw material request orders for delivery to specified work centers in production and properly scan in RF device; supply required consumables to production areas and handle disposal of some waste from the production floor, i.e. bad pallets, recyclables, etc.

3. Required

YOUR PROFILE
* Must have at least one year of experience operating standup forklifts, including cherry pickers and reach trucks.
* Must be able to operate a lift truck to reach heights of up to 40 feet
* Must have strong math skills
* High school diploma or equivalent education required

Material Handler 9:00am-5:30pm Summary of Position The Material Handler is responsible for supporting the processing and shipment of goods and services by the proper picking, storage, stocking and restocking of materials and supplies utilized. The Material Handler is expected to perform their responsibilities in an error free manner while completing required paperwork and computer data entries associated with service center production processes. Responsibilities and Duties As a minimum, the following is a basic description of typical duties and responsibilities expected of the Material Handler position. Work efficiently while picking and restocking materials.
Ensure stock tags and material identifications are correct.
Performs daily cycle counts.
Prepare and pack items for shipments according to customer specifications and delivery dates.
Load and unload material from delivery trucks.
Measure materials upon arrival to the warehouse in raw, uncut form and check the gauge of materials using a micrometer.
Enter gathered data into computer system and generate tags to be placed on the appropriate material.
Pull and stage materials according to the bill-of-lading.
Perform dock audits to ensure the correct material is shipped to the customer.
Obtain proof of identity from carriers and the appropriate signatures on the bill-of-lading.
Drive fork truck through the plant to move material and skids to designated areas, safely.
Operate the over-head crane to move material from machine to packaging, safely.
Strive to meet all customer expectations.
Adhere to safety rules, regulations, and quality standards.
Adhere to all handbook policies and procedures.
Required Qualifications

A day in the life:
Order Fulfillment: Select products from inventory to fulfill customer orders, ensuring accuracy and timely processing.
Product Handling: Quickly and accurately receive, inspect, process, and store incoming shipments. Match delivery contents with packing lists to verify accuracy and note any discrepancies.
Driving: Operate delivery vehicles to transport items to other stores or customer locations. Ensure compliance with safety protocols, maintain a clean driving record, and complete vehicle safety checks before departure.
Packing & Staging: Prepare, pack, and stage products for inter-store transfers, customer pick-ups, and deliveries. Ensure packaging meets standards to prevent damage during transit.
Safety & Equipment Use: Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, hand trucks, and other warehouse equipment safely and efficiently. Perform regular safety checks and report maintenance needs.
Inventory Management: Verify vendor and stock numbers for incoming products and determine proper storage locations based on bin numbers or product sequence.
Customer Assistance: Occasionally greet customers professionally and assist with loading their purchases. Handle inquiries related to product availability, order status, and store policies.
Sales Counter Support: Collaborate with the sales team by occasionally answering phones, assisting walk-in customers, and helping at the counter during busy periods.
Freight Claims: Inspect shipments for damage or shortages, document issues, and initiate freight claims as needed.
What we're looking for:
Minimum Qualifications:
High School Diploma or GED (or equivalent experience), with a clean driving record.
Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs. regularly (with occasional heavier lifts using equipment).
Skill to operate heavy equipment, including delivery vehicles, forklifts, and pallet jacks.
Basic math skills, including addition, subtraction, multiplication and division.
Basic computer skills and familiarity with inventory management systems.

Valid Driver's License
