Operate industrial trucks or tractors equipped to move materials around a warehouse, storage yard, factory, construction site, or similar location.

The Runner is responsible for maintaining a consistent flow of raw ingredients, packaging material and finished goods between the production lines and storage or shipping areas. Arrive to work on time and strive to stay ahead. Efficiency is a must so stay focused on your area. Monitor needs and maintain communication with shuttle operators, Room Supervisors and Receiving Supervisor and be attentive to the ongoing needs of the production lines. Know your assigned production room and preplan shifts accordingly to have materials positioned properly as communicated by the Production Room Supervisor. Assure all pallets entering the room are free of dirt, broken pallet pieces, etc. Assure that any items not used during production are removed from the room and returned to the proper location in the cooler or warehouse. Assure that all items are pulled at the end of your shift for the next days production based on the pull sheets given to you by the Warehouse Supervisor. Report any raw material shortages to the Warehouse Supervisor and the Production Room Supervisor. Job DescriptionSchedule: Monday through Friday 7:30 - 4:00 PM Driving a forklift, and lifting, weighing, stacking and moving 50 lb bags of product for about 75% of the shift. These may be moved by forklift or by hand dolly. Good housekeeping to be always maintained. Work in a safe and efficient manner consistent with company rules and regulations. Run multiple pieces of equipment, i.e, batching mixers, pellet mills, grinders, grain cleaners; receives ingredients by truck and rail, monitors ingredients inventory levels. Manufacture products to ensure that they meet specifications, and HACCP requirements. Standing, walking, moving, climbing, carrying, bending, kneeling, crawling, reaching, handling, pushing, pulling, and working in small spaces. Driving will be required to complete certain tasks. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Operate dock stocker and electric pallet jack equipment to properly wrap products, ensuring correct weight, wrap, stage, and load of pallets onto trailers. Manually stack boxes on pallets, following specific stacking patterns and safety guidelines. Validate, pick tickets, placards, and BOL checklists for accuracy. Support shipping team functions and perform various shipping duties as needed. Maintain speed and efficiency while safely performing all duties. Assist with maintaining a Tour-Ready appearance at all times. Other duties as assigned. Requirements The ability to understand basic English. The ability to bend, stoop, stand, walk, and twist as needed to perform the job. The ability to lift up to 70 pounds is required along with being able to bend, stoop, stand, walk and twist as needed to perform the job.
