Counts and records number of units of materials moved or handled on daily production sheet. Reads work order or follows instructions to ascertain materials or containers to be moved. Loads and unloads materials onto or from pallets, trays, racks, and shelves. Conveys materials from storage or work sites to designated area. Attaches identifying tags or labels to materials or mark information on cases or other containers. Maintains and cleans the Warehouse area. Remove product from Production lines safely and properly place product in the Warehouse, Trailer, or other area following safe stacking and storage procedures and practices. Operate and maintain forklift equipment safely. Verify incoming product for damage and quantity, verify against receiving paperwork, reject damaged items, document shortages, and record in receiving log. Inspect trailers for unsafe conditions, leaking, etc., and record on the trailer inspection form. Operate stretch wrapper and banding equipment. Must be able to read and understand the basics of the Bill of Lading.
