Overview
Responsibilities for warehouse systems to ensure all warehouse systems and equipment functions as intended to support ongoing business operations. This role acts as the initial point of contact and troubleshooter for Tier 1 warehouse technical support, 2nd level contact for Tier 2 warehouses, and will triage to 3rd level vendor or ETP support as needed. The individual is responsible for maintaining warehouse equipment and spare inventory. In addition, this role supports MHE asset inventory management at the local level. Other duties will include the first line of defense for all and any abnormal WMI system issues.
Primary Responsibilities
Provide support to the division (24x7) or as directed by your manager (rotation)
Provide training for employees on procedures/systems
Manage and Assist with the maintaining of the Material Handling systems (conveyor, SRM's in motion scanners, VFD's, Servo Motors and controls, etc.)
Coordination with relevant Warehouse Equipment vendors for issue resolution and service performance at respective DCs
Provide training for distribution center employees on procedures/ MHE systems
Initial point of contact for onsite support at respective Distribution Center
Handle incidents provide level 2 support (offsite) for remote small and medium distribution centers and triage to level 3 as needed
Perform proactive maintenance for warehouse equipment
Additional Primary Responsibilities
Document and escalate issues to the appropriate vendors and SGWS SCM support groups
Manage and maintains the spare parts inventory and report as required to keep the systems ready for production
Be always on call and available for ownership of the MHE's systems function
Oversee detailed root cause analysis of reliability issues
Implement operations continuous improvement measures and initiatives
Be able to trouble shoot all first support calls on WM issues including any label or voice process issues
Learn and assist with all WM reporting procedure
Perform other job-related duties as assigned
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree (Industrial, Mechanical, business administration, computer science, information systems, or other industry related curriculum) or Sufficient and relevant work experience
5 or more years of work experience
Minimum one year of work experience in Warehouse Operations & Support
Working knowledge of PLC operations and PLC electrical panels
Working knowledge of Motor starters, overloads, and basic wiring
Knowledge of wholesale distribution strongly preferred
MS Office and other general desktop software experience required
Good understanding of Excel strongly preferred
Must have some experience with conveyor systems, pick to belt operations and other MHE systems including software such as Warehouse control systems, Warehouse Management systems, and not limited to lift systems management systems and maintenance tracking software

May be responsible for verifying the shipment in the warehouse management system.
• Completes work orders as assigned by Inventory Control and ensures that outbound shipments to the various distribution centers and other destinations are pulled and expediated. Verifies quantities are accurate and match with outbound shipping paperwork. Scans each skid to the shipment and ensures load is secure for outbound transport. Loads trailer and provides shipping documents to the carrier.
• Utilizes RF and WM system to access system generated tasks to stock the pick line and secondary warehouse locations. Locates product in reserve bulk location. Verifies inventory part number matches the system generated request. Scans location bar code to remove the inventory from bulk storage. Stocks the pick line by scanning the location and the requested number of cases. Cuts cases with care to not cut or damage product or cartons and loads the cases into bulk flow racks. Lifts cases to shoulder level or over head to place product on pallets or bulk racks. Returns remaining inventory to original reserve location or to a different reserve location using the Locate Pallet function. Determines the best standard practice among the various replenishment options given the complexity of the task.
• Performs weekly system generated cycle counts as assigned. Completes system generated cycle counts by scanning each case on the pallet. Assists Inventory Control with reconciliation of variances.
• Works with the Team Coordinator to ensure prompt delivery of components and raw materials to the Distribution Assembly production floor to meet production schedules, tasking requirements and eliminate downtime. Assists in the inspection of finished good product for defects before and after assembly and ensured the correct items are delivered to the pick lines. Performs cycle counts and properly stocks all returned inventory from distribution assembly work orders to maintain the highest level of inventory accuracy. Shares accountability with employees on the Distribution Assembly line for packaging specification compliance. Communicates with Supervisor or Team Coordinator when tasking demand is low to utilize resources elsewhere.
• Performs daily forklift safety checklist, and other miscellaneous duties including maintaining equipment, assisting Supervisor as needed, conducting inventories, keeping warehouse clean and free of clutter, etc. May perform building maintenance. If applicable, performs preventative maintenance on batteries (always wearing necessary safety equipment), including removing and charging battery, watering battery, inspecting battery for exposed wires, and reporting failures to Supervisor.

• Incumbent must have sufficient visual acuity to operate forklift safely including yielding to pedestrian traffic and to identify and place various products in double deep bulk storage racks. Also, the incumbent must have good eye/hand coordination to operate forklift efficiently.
• Must have basic PC skills to operate WM system.
• Must be very detail-oriented to verify inventory information.

Major Responsibilities
· One or more of the following critical supply chain functions that assist in delivering product to our customers.

* Greets customers and ascertains customers' needs
* Provides high-quality customer service, providing product knowledge to assist customers, and assists in motivating others to do the same

* Assists the store supervisor with receiving merchandise and embossing of merchandise
* May provide training and development for the store's staff and assist with scheduling and delegation of tasks
* Provide back-up support on behalf of the store leadership during absence, or when needed, which may include shift opening and closing, payroll, and timekeeping duties
* Acts as sole operational leader during absence of store supervisor with independent decision-making and responsibility for managing complex customer service issues, and coordination with offsite regional manager
* May perform and/or oversee housekeeping duties to ensure facility, equipment, and storage areas are in good condition
* Ability to work as scheduled and needed (including Saturdays and holidays)
* Assists in other operational responsibilities, as needed
Required:
* Associate degree or high school diploma and 2 years customer service experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
* Ability to complete internal customer service training within one month of hire
* Ability to understand and troubleshoot basic technical systems and tools
* Intermediate math, reading, computer, and cashiering skills
* Excellent communication skills and demonstrated ability to lead and work well with others
* Ability to effectively resolve routine questions and problems independently
* Ability to work with some supervision, following instructions
* Ability to work as scheduled and needed (including Saturdays and holidays)
* This position operates in a retail environment
* To successfully perform the essential functions of the job there may be physical requirements which need to be met, such as: standing for long periods of time, stooping, bending, and lifting up to 40 pounds

Check items picked for accuracy and quality, ensuring correct manufacturer, size, color, style, quantities and defects.

Inspect product for damages or defects.
Fold and place items neatly into the cartons.
