Responsibilities:
Conduct daily pre-production checks to ensure materials are available for production as scheduled. Communicate gaps related to material planning.

Perform cycle counts at main and external warehouses as defined in cycle count plan. Compare physical counts against ERP values. Develop and update spreadsheets to track counts.
Complete End of Month and End of Year inventory duties including performing physical counts, generating reports, and working with the Controller to troubleshoot inventory issues. Present findings in monthly inventory meeting.
Track key performance indicators (KPI) and metrics and report to leadership
Coordinate outside warehouse transfers to ensure materials arrive in a timely manner for production.

The Team Members We're Looking For...
We are looking to add members to our 2nd shift Warehouse Team! In these roles, you will have the opportunity to learn or hone skills specializing in warehouse operations related to production and vendor products like:
Working the main receiving dock and final disposition of products
Raw materials receipt, storage and distribution
Finished goods distribution
During the course of your day, some of the things you'd be doing include:
Receiving, identifying and verifying materials incoming from production and/or outside vendors and stores in appropriate location per specifications and department guidelines.
Distributing and/or storing items per department guidelines and specifications.
Accurately processing and maintaining all related documentation via PC and/or handwritten.
Using appropriate material handling equipment to loads and/or unload truckload carriers per specifications.
Preparing orders for shipment per instructions and specifications including pallet labeling, consolidation, or stretch wrapping.
Maintaining inventory per department guidelines.
Responding to all inter-company requests for materials and material counts. Incumbent serves as a resource to department/team members and others in resolving related issues and problems.
As a member of a production support team; training, assisting and supporting other team members in problem solving and meeting department goals. Continuously reviewing current processes and searching out improvement methods to improve product/process quality, reduce waste, rework, and unnecessary work that adds no value to the work or process.
Performing general housekeeping tasks and waste removal within department/group and assists other areas as required.
Based on business need, assisting/supporting in other job functions within process or other company processes within scope and ability
Qualifications
To be able to do this job you need:
High School Diploma or GED.
Demonstrated proficiency in performing basic math calculations including whole numbers, fractions and decimals.
Legible handwriting.
Good interpersonal communication skills and the ability to work with all levels of personnel.
The ability to accurately follow verbal and written instructions
Good judgment and decision making ability
The ability to continuously stand and/or sit, stretch, reach, stoop and bend.
