ABOUT THE POSITION:
The Warehouse Distribution Associate is responsible for the efficient handling, storage, and distribution of cannabis products, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely delivery to retail partners. This role involves managing inventory, processing product documentation, and preparing shipments while collaborating with team members to meet operational goals. A strong commitment to safety, precision, and confidentiality is essential in this fast-paced environment.
JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Receive, unload, and inspect incoming shipments to verify inventory counts and compliance accuracy.
Intake inbound inventory into the POS software.
Organize and store products in designated warehouse locations both physically and within the POS system.
Follow inventory protocols, including IOC and inventory card updates, while adhering to company policies and procedures.
Pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment in a timely and accurate manner.
Verify and organize outgoing orders to ensure delivery accuracy.
Conduct regular inventory audits to maintain accuracy and compliance.
Assist with stock replenishment and ensure adequate inventory levels.
Serve as a backup delivery driver when needed.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the warehouse to uphold safety standards.
Collaborate with team members to meet daily operational goals and objectives.
Additional duties as assigned by management.

Minimum Qualifications (Required):
Strong understanding of inventory control systems and processes.
Proven experience in picking, packing, and preparing orders for shipment with accuracy.
Proficiency in entering inventory and inbound order data into systems with precision.

Comprehensive knowledge of safety protocols and a commitment to following them consistently.

Additional Qualifications (Preferred):
High School Diploma or GED
1+ years of experience in warehouse and distribution operations, with additional consideration for retail experience, preferably in a cannabis dispensary or related industry.
Must be 21 years of age or older and eligible to obtain a Facility Agent (FA) badge.
Ability to pass a background check
Physical Requirements:
Continuous movement during shifts, adept communication with customers, including sitting and standing for extended periods, handling high sales volume, and lifting up to 50 pounds are essential physical requirements for this role.
License/Certification: Must obtain and maintain an AZDHS Facility Agent Card to start work.

Who you'll work with:
This role reports to the Operations Manager and works closely with the Distribution Lead and the rest of the distribution team.
What You'll Do:
Pick, pack and ship outbound customer orders accurately and on time.
Maintain a safe work environment and follow all safety guidelines including safe operation of hand trucks and other equipment as required
Utilize the Tracelink serial tracking system for all required products.
Use FedEx/UPS systems to process shipments and invoices of customer orders.
Ensure compliance with Young Innovations Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and pharmaceutical industry requirements.
Conduct cycle counts, inventory replenishment, and physical inventory audits in compliance with state and federal regulations.
Maintain a clean and organized warehouse including sweeping, dusting, trash disposal, organization of materials and other duties as needed.
Determine appropriate cold ship packaging by destination.
Overtime may be required as the needs of the business dictate.
Participate in continuous improvement initiatives, activities and projects.
Complete the manufacturing repacking process.
Create and expedite transfers of repack products to other warehouse locations.
RELATED DUTIES:
Adhere to QRA, safety and management directives or key initiatives.
Manage and record all warehouse temperature and cleaning logs.
