The Purchasing and Inventory Associate supports all procurement and inventory functions within our organization. Ensure that a 98% in-stock service level exists for each account, proactively work with the VMI Team and VMI Program Inventory Manager (PIM) in reviewing the customer and Austin Hardware's inventory positions on a daily basis and react with a sense of urgency Ensure proper packaging is used per our agreements. Perform the physical restocking of customer's shelves to required inventory levels. Monitor stock levels at the customer's facility and generate replenishment orders to bring stock up to required levels. Maintain the Austin stocking area at the customer's facility in a clean, orderly, and well labeled manner. Review and recommend to the VMI Team or the VMI PIM, changes to the customer stocking level to insure excellent service levels. Identify products or services that Austin may provide to the customer and communicate that information back to Austin sales contact.
