Beverage Stocker / Merchandiser: Displays and arranges beverage products on shelves, displays, and other areas to draw attention to potential customers. Provides excellent customer service to store owners and customers. Effectively resolves complaints or grievances. Candidates must demonstrate a high level of accuracy, and ability to work without direct supervision. Must be able to lift up to 70 pounds. This position requires a valid driver's license. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate, and occasionally exposed to outside weather conditions.

Arranges products according to prearranged plan or own ideas approved by management.Places price and descriptive signs on backdrop, fixtures, merchandise, or floor.Transfers product from customer stock room to floor displays in order to comply with "Sell By" dates, maximize product in store and minimize product in stock room.Orders product for assigned accounts in accordance with established procedures to ensure no out of stocks conditions.Originates display ideas or follows suggestions or schedule of Merchandiser Manager and Sales Manager.Communicate effectively on a daily basis with key store personnel on any service or product needs.Constructs or assembles display aids from company provided Point of Sale (POS) materials.Wear company provided uniform and present professional and well-groomed appearance to customers and market place.Other duties may be assigned by the immediate supervisor or other supervisor at any time.

Specific duties may include:
Following all applicable safety rules and procedures Accurately distribute and place all specified building materials as indicated on the order ticket Examines and records all material transported to and/or from the delivery site Verifies and records the quantity and type of building materials being handled Responsible for having the delivered product neatly placed and appearing as orderly and presentable as possible Cleaning up debris created by the delivery process and properly disposing of it before leaving the delivery site Operating a forklift safely and efficiently and being able to handle heavy and awkward loads Responsibilities may include assisting with delivery of materials to customers or jobsites and delivery functions including unloading and staging of product at jobsites as assigned

Specific qualifications include:

Responsible for ensuring that adequate levels of all supplies (perishable and non-perishable) are maintained constantly in the front of the restaurant operations as needed. Ensures complete cleanliness of dining area and food service areas.
KEY JOB FUNCTIONS
:


Maintains a constant level of a supply of glassware, silver and other food service accessories at all service stations. Ensures dining room cleanliness is maintained at all times. Assists co-workers on cleaning tables for prompt readiness. Maintains the supply of all condiments, makes coffee, tea, cocoa, etc. and other food accessory items at the service stations. Familiarizes self with, and adheres to, the principles of customer service and the interactive skills associated those principles. Cleans food line area when assigned Fills napkin holders as needed. Performs emergency mopping and cleaning of floor if needed. Covers other stations when needed.



EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:



High School graduate or equivalent preferred



QUALIFICATIONS:
