Pulls merchandise from storage locations. Receives, picks, packages, loads and moves merchandise for shipment. Replenishes inventory stock and performs other inventory activities. Operates powered material handling equipment (e.g., pallet jacks, standup lifts, turret trucks and forklifts).
Principle Duties and Responsibilities:
* Repetitively places and pulls merchandise weighing up to 50 pounds to and from storage locations, using a hand-held radio frequency device and/or voice recognition system to scan and/or record selected merchandise from storage locations or within a computer operated pick-module or carousel.
* Receives, picks, packages, loads and moves merchandise weighing up to 50 pounds for shipment, either in boxes or on pallets using powered or manual pallet jacks, or other powered material handling equipment (e.g., standup lifts, turret trucks and forklifts).
* Replenishes inventory stock.
* Performs inventory activities, including counting material, equipment, merchandise, or supplies in stock and comparing inventories to office records or computer figures.
* Unloads incoming shipments and loads outgoing trucks with merchandise using powered industrial material handling equipment (e.g., standup lifts, turret trucks and forklifts).
* Arranges merchandise to be staged or stocked in storage locations to maintain inventory levels.
* Packages merchandise for shipment, either in boxes or on pallets; ensures correct and complete labels are attached to all orders processed.
Minimum Qualifications:
* High school diploma or its equivalent (GED).
* Basic math proficiency.
* Ability to repetitively lift and/or move merchandise up to 50 pounds.
* Ability to pass required certification in order to operate powered material handling equipment.
* Forklift certification or ability to be certified.

Pay: $18.00/hr

Summary: This position is responsible for performing the tasks involved in the shipping, receiving, storing and distributing of materials, parts, supplies and equipment.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Using an RF gun when cycle counting and pulling orders
Counting parts
Making inventory adjustment
Pulling small pack UPS and FedEx orders
Using the UPS and FedEx computer to process the order to be shipped.
Work with Order Pickers on ensuring a quality, accurate shipment to the customer.
Pack, band, weigh, and label completed items for shipment.
Ensure that pallets are wrapped and packed correctly and secures pallet using banding and shrink-wrap so that shipment arrives to destination intact with no damages/shortages.
Applies proper decals, labels, tracking # tags.
Load products into proper staging area or trucks for shipment.
Ensures all pallets are presentable and all items on the pallet are properly stacked and secure for safe transport.
Ensure the correct merchandise is loaded on the correct designated truck.
Report defective materials or questionable conditions to the department supervisor.
Follow safety guidelines at all times, meet specified productivity and quality expectations, and participate in Target Zero safety program.
Perform other general warehouse duties and responsibilities as required.
Competency:
To perform the job successfully, an individual should demonstrate the following competencies:
Reach truck AND order picker experience is REQUIRED.
Cycle counting experience required.
Understand and follow basic verbal and written instructions.
Possess basic mathematical skills: addition, subtraction, multiplication and division.
Perform basic visual quality inspections on products.
Utilize banding equipment.
Must be familiar with proper packaging methods.
High School Diploma or GED (preferred).
to stand for long periods of time.
Must be able to lift up to 75 lbs. Lifting ranges from 25 ,50 and 75 lbs.
Frequent bending, stooping, squatting, kneel, crouch, pushing and pulling of parts and part containers.
The employee continuously is required to use hands or fingers, handle, or feel objects.
The employee is continuously required to stand; walk; reach with hands and arms.
Must be able to work in various weather and temperature conditions to include extreme heat, humidity and cold.
A resume AND interview required. A Drug test will be required after interview. Will be tested for THC when hired on. Reno Staffing prides in working with people from all walks of life.
