We are seeking a Warehouse General Labor in Hebron, KY!
As a Warehouse General Laborer at Rocket Shippers, you will be an integral part of our operations team. You will be responsible for various tasks related to the efficient and organized functioning of our warehouse facility. This role involves physical labor, attention to detail, and a commitment to safety.
Responsibilities:
* Assist in receiving, unloading, and organizing incoming shipments.
* Properly store products in designated areas, ensuring they are easily accessible for retrieval.
* Prepare and package products for outgoing shipments, following established procedures.
* Conduct routine inventory checks and assist in cycle counting activities.
* Operate basic warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks, forklifts (if certified), and hand trucks.
* Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring a safe and hazard-free environment.
* Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures, including proper handling of hazardous materials (if applicable).
* Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet productivity and efficiency targets.
* Perform other related duties as assigned.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
* High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
* Previous experience in a warehouse or similar environment is a plus.
* Ability to lift and carry heavy objects (up to 60 pounds) and perform physically demanding tasks.
* Basic math skills for counting, sorting, and recording inventory.
* Strong attention to detail and accuracy in tasks.
* Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team.
