Stockroom attendant job description

As an essential member of the Brightline Station Operations team, you will work behind the scenes to receive and store inventory, prepare food orders and deliver all items to the platform for loading on the train. Your professionalism and attention to detail will significantly and directly affect our guests' onboard experience.
Essential Functions:

* Warmly greet all guests you see on the platform or in the station.
* Take pride in keeping your work area safe and sanitary and maintain the highest of hygiene standards.
* Receive, document, and store deliveries ensuring proper food handling, rotation, and labeling.
* Maintain the necessary temperature logs and check all equipment is in working order reporting any issues promptly.
* Receive fulfillment details from the F&B leadership team and accurately document inventory.
* Inspect supplies, equipment, and work areas to ensure efficient service and compliance to standards, requests, and maintenance or repairs in a timely manner.
* Apply safe food handling practices at all times to ensure standards are met.
* Clean service and work areas to adhere to Company health and hygiene standards.
* Communicate with teammates for the timely and detailed transference of information.

Qualifications:

* You have previous experience in stockroom operations in retail, F&B, or hospitality settings.
* You are a minimum of 18 years old.
* You are safety-focused in your day-to-day life; ever-vigilant to inform and help others to stay safe in their environment.
* You are able to work shifts, including weekends and holidays.
* Knowledge of the prevention of foodborne illnesses and health regulations is not required but a PLUS.

Primary Function:

This position is responsible for performing all activities related to inventory management as part of the stockroom team. These activities includes completing timely transactions of work order issues, picking material, cycle counting, and the storage of material. Accuracy and a focus on detail is vital to be successful in this role.

Basic Qualifications:

• High School Diploma, GED
• Must be able to accurately count (including very small parts)
• Must be able to lift 35 lbs and stand during entire shift.
• Must be able to sit, stand, reach, squat, stoop, bend, kneel and use a ladder.
• Knowledge and experience in an ERP system.
• Must be able to obtain a forklift certification
• Must be able to read and write in English

Responsibilities:

• Store all materials that are delivered from the receiving department or production areas.
• Manage all RTS parts on a daily basis.
• Logically set storage locations to ensure efficient work order picks.
• Regular, predictable attendance is required.
• Perform transactions in the ERP system.
• Counting of parts (some very small) by hand or using electronic scale.
• Execute assigned standard work.
• Must be able to work under deadlines.
• Other tasks may be assigned by Manager
• Physical Demands: Sitting 15%, Walking 20%, Standing 35%, Lifting 30% (up to 35lbs, then with a partner or lifting device)

Position Summary:

Vallen's Integrated Supply Site Manager is a staff management position integrated within a customer's location to drive program growth and manage the day-to-day activities of a team of associates to ensure positive and profitable customer relationships that contribute to the achievement of Vallen's financial goals and business objectives.

Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:

* Provides leadership to onsite customer team(s) providing Integrated Supply solutions. Staff management duties include, but are not limited to interviewing, selecting, hiring, coaching, counseling, and disciplining associates while enforcing company policies, procedures, and productivity standards.
* Ensures sales and profitability goals for local integrated supply site(s) are achieved.
* Drives contractual customer commitments (i.e., customer cost savings, key performance indicators) at local integrated supply site.
* Demonstrates sense of urgency in customer service to both external and internal customers.
* Effectively manages P&L (Profit & Loss) statement of local integrated supply site ensuring that site meets or exceeds budgeted goal.
* Assure that local integrated supply customer pays Vallen according to agreed upon payment terms.
* Performs other related duties as requested.

Job Qualifications: .

* Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., Business, Supply Chain Mgt, Marketing, Finance, etc.) and 8+ years of outside or inside experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience in supply chain management, wholesale distribution, industrial distribution, manufacturing, or a similarly applicable industry (indirect materials a plus).
* 5+ years of staff management with a proven track record as a team leader demonstrating a solid understanding of people management practices.
* Strong ability to develop and cultivate customer relationships.
* Must have a mechanical aptitude and demonstrated knowledge of recognizing manufacturing applications where Vallen products, services and solutions can deliver cost savings to the local integrated supply customer.
* Demonstrated knowledge of financial and business acumen; strong understanding of interpreting and managing by profit and loss statement expectations.
* Proficiency with MS-Office products (Excel, Word & Powerpoint) and the technical aptitude to learn all company specific programs and software applications
