Job Summary:
The Stockroom Supervisor is responsible for the complete operations of the stockroom. In addition, provide leadership and direction for immediate staff and entire store concerning stockroom functions. Essential Job Functions:
- Train and develop stockroom associates
- Delegate through others…Set an example for the department
- Receive new merchandise
- Process new merchandise
- Total contents of truck and report results to corporate controller
- Prepare transfers and return to vendor merchandise for transport

- Clean and repair minor damage to merchandise and return to the sales floor

- Organize and maintain back stock merchandise, fixtures, and hangers
- Maintain clean, neat, and organized work environment

- Motivate associates to maximize performance
- Evaluate employee performance
- Operate a cash register
- Uphold company policies and procedures
- Perform other duties assigned by management
Special abilities, required skills, or education needed to perform the essential job functions: High School diploma and stockroom (supervision) experience preferred.
Physical demands of the job: Bending, stooping, lifting (up to 50 lbs.) and standing for long periods of time.

Responsibilities:
+ Supervise daily stockroom production which includes tracking the daily work flow of garments through the stockroom production line, scheduling stockroom production based on daily count of pieces requested on orders and measuring daily pieces produced
+ Monitor and assign stockroom workers to the stockroom stations as required by the piece work flow
+ Monitor the productive labor reports, working with employees who may need further training and coaching
+ Assure proper maintenance procedures are being performed on stockroom production equipment (including following lock-out procedures)
+ Review the Customer Order Forms daily for completeness and accuracy; research any unusual requests and/or nonstandard items with the Merchandise Control Manager
+ Work with the Merchandise Control Manager to maintain required inventory
+ Schedule production work flow to allow for monthly physical inventory count, without disruption of service to customer
Qualifications:
+ High school degree or equivalent
+ Previous stockroom experience is required
+ Ability to motivate the stockroom employees, direct their work, and maintain a positive working relationships
+ Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
+ Strong organizational and customer skills
+ Ability to learn, understand, and adhere to all applicable safety precautions and procedures
+ Must be able to frequently lift and maneuver up to 50 pounds
+ Successful completion of Criminal Background and Drug Screen checks
